Don't sweat the goal that never happened for you, just be proud of yourself for what you did. There's probably many who did worse or just gave up part way through.

Today was my first full day back from Vegas. I am not going to survey the damage in the weight department on a scale for a few weeks. I did plan on hitting the buffet lines like a monster hitting the city in a Japanese movie, but it looks like my stomach is not as large as it used to be. I ate unhealthy but not to excess. Despite a killer hangover I got up Tuesday morning and did a 3 mile run. I ran it pretty slow because I was in bad shape. While I was running on the strip I overheard someone say, "There goes one of those running nuts". I made the mistake of buying a new pair of street shoes before leaving for Vegas and I did alot of walking on the strip in them. I now have a blister on the bottom of my left foot. As a result I am going to have a miserable run tonight. Well, I am leaving now to go meet for my group run. We are doing 3 miles tonight.

Well if they end up in the same state as you have recently, by the end it will be less of a group run and more of a group wince: wink:

I'll say again I ain't going anywhere near a scale until next week, so no weigh in today. I got a new toy yesterday called a smart phone and it is designed to make me feel dumb trying to use it. I did get to take some pictures this morning. Frygle doesn't have to worry about competition for best photographer  The first is where I start my runs from. The second is moi. I did a 6 mile run this morning.

I presume you're just quipping there Edgar about the suit, I mean you didn't actually run in that, because if you did that's a massive coincidence

I had penciled one in for the 17th, but I decided to wait a bit longer and do a bit of training for the next one. I signed up for a 5k today being run Nov 6th which will give me a month to do some speed work. About two weeks later on the 21st I will do my first 10k.

I screwed up my watch settings on my tuesday run, so no readout. I did run 4 miles, but me setting the watch wrong screwed up the intervals I tried to run. Tomorrow's group run is for 2.5 miles. I am going to start doing hill workouts on the gym's treadmill on Friday nights to build up my leg strength,

I've been in a but of pain with my knee since Sunday. I was going to run intervals today but I was afraid of making the knee worse. I still did a 4 mile easy paced run. I am feeling a bit down.
