Ouch... I know how it feels. Once I get a migraine everything is OVER!!!
I take medicine and BAM K.O for the day...

Good to know you're doing GREAT... a few cookies are ok.. JUST NOT ALL THE TIME!!!
There's always next week to weight yourself no? Continue to do what you're doing..
It will go down in no time

Migraines and headaches eh? Things like water, NSAIDS, sleep and the dark, work well. However doing something like boxing or listening to Heavy Metal, is not very medicinal in such circumstances :-p.

 Thanks for the tips, Boss Man! And Nokie, I know what you mean - once I take my Imitrex I am down for the count! Luckily this one went away pretty quickly :D

I weighed yesterday morning and gained .4 pounds. Guess the cookies weren't a good idea. I went to work and all was well. Then just like that I was in the bathroom throwing up  I stuck it out for a bit because I thought it was just the residual effects of my migraine on Sunday. Turns out I was wrong - a coworker ended up driving me home while I threw up in a puke bag the whole way. Not my most shining work moment :P I spent 5 1/2 hours laying on my bathroom floor. I have never in my entire life had the flu so severely. I actually almost went to the hospital. I spent today on the couch with a fever and completely dehydrated.

But I weighed this morning and I lost 4.4 pounds since I weighed yesterday morning   Not exactly the way I want to be losing weight! About an hour ago my fever went away as fast as it came and I am famished! All I can imagine eating is oatmeal but I have no milk so I don't know what I will do. I am in no shape to visit the grocery store so I may have to get creative. Hopefully tomorrow I will be back in shape for a workout - I certainly can't count on keeping off the 4.4 pounds I lost in one day

I hope you are working on regaining that in the form of hydration, that is a serious fluid loss.Hope you feel better soon :)

My sister's family has all been sick this week too. She's the one that is having xmas dinner actually so hopefully germs will be gone by then!

Sounds like your starting to feel better. Just take it easy. :) At least the bright side is your going to have a short week at work.

Oatmeal and Water.

If you find it a bit bland, try things like honey, powdered / ground flax or maybe Cinnamon for example if you have any of those.

I'm definitely much better today. I woke up feeling great (well, compared to the last two days anyway :)). Then I got to work. As soon as I started walking around I got really weak. So I just tried to stay at my desk as much as possible. I drank TONS of fluids today but I couldn't really eat much. But as the day went on I got my energy back quite a bit. I even shoveled when I got home (it's been waiting for me for two day, apparently it doesn't shovel itself when you are sick, darn  ). I was able to eat dinner so I think I am pretty much over it.

I am going to stick with just the shoveling for tonight, I don't want to over do it.

Glad you are feeling better....otherwise you would have to change your name to "feelin-not so good" instead of "feelin-great"
Seriously tho', glad you are better, take care of yourself girl!! I would love to shovel snow...I have never gotten to do that. There should be some way to recycle all the snow that is shoveled, melt it down, bottle it up and use it to water our lawns down here in the south in the summer!!

I almost forgot - I have a nephew who turns four in February. He is asking for a Wii Fit game - LOL! I guess it's great to get them interested in exercise early. This one is by Nickelodeon. I told my sister she can't buy it because I am going to get it for him :D He has taken a lot of interest in me working out. When I go up there to use their elliptical he will sit on the recumbent bike and pretend he is working out with me, it's priceless :D Then he shows me his muscles afterwards

Everybody have a very Merry Christmas!! Or just Happy Holidays, not sure what everybody celebrates - if you don't then just plain have a great weekend :D
