Thanks for telling me the biggest loser marathon was on last night. Don't watch the show but that is the only episode i like to watch. Have to go online and see it. Good for you on the exercise during the show. That show is 2 hrs long! :) That is one show where i wish i had tivo so I could block off all the commercials. Seems like there is a lot of them in that show. :)

Hey guys! Happy Holidays!!!musculargirl...if no tivo, how about on demand? When I need that bit of umph to workout, I watch reruns. Ok, so it's freezing here. Last night was snowing & cold. That means, no walks outside for me :( . I've been getting some of my workouts done, but not like I should or want to. This week has been very hard. Lots of studying going around my house, lots of cleaning (to start fresh & clean the new year) & not enough time. However, I've been adding little workouts here & there. This morning I did 3sets of 15: girl pushups, squats, forward lunges, military press, chest flys, backward lunges, bicep curls, calf raise, tricep curls & mountain climbers. I also did 2 x 40 seconds plank. I followed it with 30 min run in place. Had a quick breakfast: oatmeal w/ protein & later 1 cup of water. Lunch: up & down the stairs in school (3 floors) haven't counted how many but until the bell ring. I had a tuna fish sandwich on whole wheat & 1 small apple w/ i bottle of water. For dinner: veggie pasta w/ ground turkey & 1 bottle of water. While watching the finale of biggest looser, I ran for 1 hour (yippee!) & walk for 1 hour. Felt good. Had my protein shake. Not so bad...right? Tomorrow: kickboxing video. Have a test on thursday & need to study hard :( .

Happy Friday!! Sooo happy. Got a 95 on my test, YIPEE! It was HARD. Than God I'm done with it. Extremely busy. Little time to workout, but instead, I've been doing lots of cardio. Like today, did 10min. HIIt in the morning, walked 1 mile in the afternoon (freezing). By the way, if you walk during whikle is freezing outside, do you burn more calories? Cause my whole body shakes while walking...isn't that exercising too?   . I'm laughing about it now, but I was crying then. This evening, after dinner, I did a quick 10 min. cardio workout video. In about an hour, I'll be running with the Wii. Sorry, but I need some fun today. Very tired. If I hear my kids laughing because my mini-me in the Wii fell, it makes me laugh too. It happens alot. I forget to have a steady pace & my mini-me ends up face down on a bridge or tunnel . Anyways, tomorrow, need to decorate my house for Christmas. I know, shame on me...But I've been too busy. We always decorate on Thanksgiving day, but not this year :( :( . However, I have all my decorations out. This year our colors are beige, gold, light brown & white. I also have a few ballerinas made of crystal (not the real kind ). Gold ribbons, fake snow & clear lights. On top, the angel my mother gave me about 20 years ago (It still works!). My kids light the tree up & hubby does the angel. I do the town, my favorite part. We put tree skirt that loos like snow. on top, the town (it has a church, post office, candy store, school, clothing store & a pond w/ people singing, skating, etc.). On the other side of the tree, we have the nativity scene (tradition). We put christmas music while we decorate & I roast a pork to get the house "smelling like christmas" (tradition too ). Can't wait for tomorrow! Everybody is excited!!! Even my kid's friends. They like to help, specially with the food  . Well, before I start decorating, I'll be working my butt off with a full body workout. Want to feel very sore on sunday

Thanks musculargirl! By the way, Looove your profile picture. Very cute little santa :D. Love babies! (not on my christmas list... ) This morning, I did full body workout. I'm sore. I think I did too many reps w/ 10 lbs. Ate very clean today :D No bread, no diet pepsi. Had salad & fruits for carbs & water w/ lemon. Had egg whites n the am, grilled salmon in the afternoon & planning to have grilled steak w/ asparagus, broccoli & salad. Working hard on my meals. I think that's my biggest problem. But can't get rid of all the "goodies" at once. Like my grandma once told me during pregnancy. You can have EVERYTHING you want, only in moderation (she wasn't talking about food...I think ). We were talking about me still working & dancing (it was my baby shower) while I was 9 months pregnant. Anyways, I kinda figure something out. You see, I have a big "chocolate problem". So, I decied to "earn" my small piece of chocolate after a very HARD wokout session (full body). I didn't have it today, but planning to do another full body on Friday & guess what I'm going to have in he afternoon?? Small iced mocha w/ skim & protein! Don't have school, will have cardio that night, so YES! I'll have it :D  :D :D. Tomorrow, kickboxing!

Tomorrow, cardio only. Supposed to snow tonight, So maybe upper body?? (shoveling). Not really looking forward to this workout . No chocolates, bread nor soda today. I'm doing pretty good so far... I was in Santa's good list & I got a new pair of balck boots (sexy ). Maybe I was in his naughty??? . Kidding!! We had a great family reunion with lots of food & music (as always). My favorite part, being together. Like family around me all the time :D Hope you guys had a great time too.

12/27/10 Blizzard arrived! We got 31" of snow . Couldn't open the door this morning. Decided to walk to the store & believe me, it was a workout. I guess I did my lower body this morning . Was thinking about cleaning our car, but it was completely covered. Not to mention, the street wasn't plowed  . Couldn't get to my car, so, I guess upper workout will be done later this afternoon. Les... Yes! Did a lot of dancing @ christmas party. Reminded me of Zumba workouts . Before, everytime I danced it was all fun, now, It's fun, but I find myself holding my stomach in, twisting my obliques more & when it's time to boogie, I go all the way down (squat) . Get my workout done while having fun :D . Nobody notice, but I feel it. All in the name of FUN & health . I'm posting today latest pictures I took on Thanksgiving. Hope you see a difference. Stretch marks are getting better. I just need to do more core work & planks. I will, promise. Now that I have the week off, will get it done :D . Well, have to go. Need to rescue my car. It drowned in snow

Thanks Boss! Working hard at it. Need to dedicate a little more time to the abs. I'm usually doing upper, lower & full body, but not enough abs. Getting to it. Also trying very hard with meals. Still figuring things out. You know, like what works for me & my goals. Still learning... :D

Hey Guys! Thank you for your great comments :D. Looking like Betty Boop?? I hope it's just the body (not the head) . Kidding, I love her! Les...Mochas? Not as often as I loved to, but once or twice a week is not bad. Confession: I have some of my guilty pleasure type of foods (pizza, burger, mocha) once a day. But like I said, I "earned" them. Specially if I do a Hiit or circuit workout. I also fill them with salad or veggies to not make me feel so guilty  As for the snow, still stuck. My son & I shoveled snow until we thought our arms were going to fall out. After we were done (only did half) we went home. I was happy with the little path we did to get the car in & out. Today, I went to check the car (trying to finish the job) & the guy parked infont cleaned his car & guess where he threw all his snow? Yes, infront of mine (on top of it too)! . Can you believe it?? I wouldn't have done that...In fact, I didn't. How dare him? Anyways, I left it like that. It was sunny today, so the beautiful Sun took care of some of it for me :D. Today, I worked on my lower body. This morning I went for a walk. It was hard but worth it. Then, 2 x 25: Squats, dedalifts, backward lunges, kick backs, plie squats, forward lunges, calf raise, leg press, abductor/adductor & side lifts (like a dog peeing ). Then, I concentrated on my abs (20reps: crunches, clams, bicycles, hip raise, torso twist, mountain climbers, 45sec. planks x2, figure 8 & superman). Booty looking tight, but I need exercises to lift. Kikc backs are not working. Maybe I'm doing it wrong cause I'm not feeling it. I did good on the abs workout. It was burning. Tomorrow: cardio. My son wants to build a snowman & sliding down the big mountain of snow so will be helping him & will take advantage & "hike" it. I'm pretty sure It'll be a great workout trying not to fall on my face (slippery). Good workout for my glutes  . Love it!!! Also, will be sucking my stomache in at ALL times . Just remember, why didn't I ask Santa for flat, stretch mark free looking abs??? I know, I was too busy dancing the night away with hubby!  Ok, next year will do....
