it's been a while since i have posted anything. i had to give up going to the gym as much bc of the holidays. cut back on gas money for gifts but dont worry. i have been working out at home. i've always had this stepper that i bought and used my own exercises on it. well bc i needed cardio and its way too cold outside i decided for the first time to try the dvd that came with it. i always thought that bc the stepper was a cheap one and the dvd was free with it, it would be shitty. well...i was wrong wayyyyy wrong. lol! it kicked my ass! i love it bc it does strength training as well. my abs hurt the next day but at least i know im workin it out. I've noticed its been feeling a little tighter. I haven't even caved this year on all the sweets! this time of the year im bad really bad. I only had one mcd. egg nog shake i use to have have 2-3 a week during this time! I haven't even made any cookies or bags of Hershey kisses! i refuse to do anything with the sweets untill xmas eve and xmas. let those be my cheat days why ruin what if worked so hard for. sugar is addicting but over time its been getting easier and easier to resist. Even on my trip in the bahamas when i said i was gonna go all out on the ben and jerrys ice cream there thats why i had only one pint in three months...i only had two servings when i was there. I'm getting better and better each month. Even if the weight doesnt drop as much as i like, i know that it starts with what causes it. if i dont beak theses habits the weight wont go away. ive noticed during this whole time ive been able to think more clearly and take things as they come and not get so discouraged all the time. I havent been obsessing about the scale anymore only do it once a month to keep me updated.

Very positive post indeed :) Don't worry eventually sugar probably won't be an issue.I find myself appalled by all the things associated with Christmas in the stores because what I SEE all around me are risks for heart disease, diabetes & other conditions :( However when I go to my moms I'm having butter tarts etc. Glad I decided to go to her house instead of her sending a box full down to me.Hard to resist when they are right in your face ;) Keep strong, your doing well :)

Been a while again since ive posted. i did pretty good this month as far as resisting temptation. it was only the 20th-25th that i caved. yesterday i got soooo many sweets as gifts. when i came into work i gave 75 percent of it away to my co workers. i got the new kinect for christmas and the your shape fitness game. i cant wait to leave work to try it tonite! im excited bc i been thinking about it but i knew i couldnt aford it my self. i did pllay the game that came with the kinect last nite and i played for two hours not realizing it. it was a blast! i was swating like mad but was havin too much fun to stop. lol. my thighs and arms are a lil sore today but worth it. if that kicked my butt i can only imagine what this fitness game will be like. ill post tomorrow what i thought of it and let u know if i see any results down the road. :)

so before working out my lower back was always popping. now it doesn't pop but the muscles are sore. i talked to my pharmacist he said its bc my lower back isn't use to the exercise. so i'm gonna do my routine only 3 times a week so it doesn't hurt so bad. i know i can take meds for it but i don't want to be a pill popper if i can help it. it is nice to not have to feel my bones rubbing up against one another any more when i lay on tummy at nite. i would move my hips side to side and feel the grinding. it was awful sometimes u could even hear it. not anymore. now its just muscle sore. which i would rather be sore and know i'm making an improvement over all then just deal with my back bones rubbing and regret it later.
