I've bascially come out as a gay man, joined the Hells Angels and become a Sperm Doner with a pink mohican hairstyle.

Right on dude

No I have been none of those things, but it might stimulate added conversation.

Me? I've stopped, started so many times I'm dizzy....now on The 17 Day Diet by Dr. Mike Moreno - need to get back to my fighting weight then workout in earnest. Throughout the diet I am working out but taking it easier due to lack of food groups...the first phase is basically 900-1000 calorie days of lots of lean protein (chicken/fish) tons of veggies, 2 fruits and 2 probiotics - green tea at every meal, and of course lots of water throughout the day.

Where have you been, anything new? I guess newlyweds deserve some alone time  - hope all is well!

I just finished a mass building stage. Put on 7 lbs in 8 weeks, mostly muscle, with the use of a lot of supps. Went from 260 to 267. Now gonna go into a fat burning stage, and just started P90X again. Damn thats a buttkicker. I have had to change from the plyo disk to kenpoX instead because my knees can't take the beating anymore. Sucks getting old!

I'm not 100% comfortable about the meal plan of 1,000 calories a day. Even if it's for a week or two max. Mainly though the Green Tea with every meal, will potentially create a fairly high Caffeine dependancy by the body and if you cut back quitye a bit to say 2-3 cups a day, you'd possibly be getting mad withdrawal symptoms potentially.

Especially as the Xanthines in Caffeine can be converted to Uric Acid, which along with the Nitrogen in Protein, could elevate Gout risk, so perhaps consider limiting the Green Tea, as it will probably work mostly as a diuretic anyway and then your body won't develop a liking, for a bit too much of the stuff :).

Boss think your looking for Lu's thread ?

Scott I need to ask, what do you mean by supplements ? Why do you gain weight & THEN target the fat, does that mean you had low body fat in the first place ? I basically don't understand the reason behind " bulking up " unless its to carbohydrate load for energy for lifts & does that really work anyway ? Or does it just lead to fat, that people then have to lose.

Hi Bonnie, I was using quit a few things including a pro hormone/pro steroid called HDROL. I was eating large amounts of food and put on a lot of muscle. If you saw the diff you would know what I was talking about. Because of the amount I was eating, I didn't concern myself so much about body fat, although I am still wearing the same size pants so things didn't get out of control. Now, I want to shift gears, partly because I was moving some heavy weights and need to give the body a break. My joints are getting pretty sore. So I am going to focus on fat loss. I think I covered everything, but write back if you have any other questions.

No, lol now you opened up a new can of worms so to speak. So you took hormones & steroids to gain 6 lbs of muscle ? Really you risked your health for muscle building ? What exactly is this muscle going to do to enhance your everyday life or are you competing ? I may run across persons taking steroids etc..so it might be nice to know what motivates a person to not build muscle the honest way or be satisfied with the amount of muscle one can build through healthy diet & hard work, can you not build enough without drugs ? Not trying to be offensive, just trying to understand the rational :)

Wow! I have been training for years and years and have kind of reached the upper limits of what I can do, and I hate to admit it I am getting a little older. I look at supps as a way to give me a little extra boost now that I have reached where I am at.
