OK, I don't respond for a couple of days and I come back to this disturbing topic
That is just so wrong!!!!
So tonight I worked out for the first time in what feels like forever - and boy did I feel it!!!! I had to go to my sister's after work so I did 30 minutes on the elliptical, set at random (really, they should just call it Hell instead of random, because it is always extreme!). Then I did 15 minutes on the recumbent bike. That thing is very deceiving. It doesn't feel too strenuous, but it sure gets my heartrate going!
I was a bit worried about my back but I fared pretty well. A couple of weeks ago I was cleaning and I got it in my head that I needed to flip my mattress...by myself. My mattress is a king size pillow-top. And I have very low ceilings and a ceiling fan. It wasn't my brightest idea ever. Well, I somehow managed to get it flipped, but my back paid for it. It is still hurting (one very specific spot) but the elliptical didn't bother it.
Breakfast: oatmeal with one whole egg cooked in, cinnamon and a little sugar and ff milk (I am so proud of myself, I have taken the time to make oatmeal every day for the last 4 weeks - I used to just eat cereal)
Snack: Dannon Light and Fit vanilla yogurt with 1/2 cup mixed raspberries and blueberries and a little Kashi Crunch (I tried Greek again last week but I just can't choke it down - not worth it when I gag on every bite!!!)
Lunch: polish sausage (OK, I know, not real healthy, but it was sooooo good!) with 1/2 cup brown rice and a cup of steamed broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots
Snack: 2 slices lf cheese sticks, 1 square homemade protein bars (oh, yum, my new candy bar
Dinner: Grilled chicken breast, 1/2 cup brown rice, 1 cup mixed steamed veggies
Things should be calming down for me now, my life is sort of back to normal so I should actually have time to get back to my normal schedule. Thank goodness!!!!
