Ohh, things are getting competitive now Allison's upped the stakes a bit.

The winner gets a weekend in Madrid, all expenses paid courtesy of the loser.

The loser gets pelted with rotten Fish.

I'm somehow guessing whoever thinks they may lose, (which could be both of them), doesn't like this idea

What's really great about this bet is we will both be winners! :)

Walked on the old treadmill for 45 minutes tonight - steady and strong. Hoping to still be under 170 in the morning ;)

Hey Lu, don't know if you saw on my journal, but I wanna join this little race to 160. I'm right around the same weight as you and Allison, and I think it will be a great motivator to all of us to have a little friendly competition. We each have very different workout routines, we are in 3 different age brackets - so....it should be fun. :D

We're on Lynne!

No weight loss for me today, but still 169 :)

I've followed my food plan to the letter, I cannot complain about the weight I've lost in the last 6-7 days. I'm encouraged that I will not only meet my goal of 160, but will do so in the next 2 weeks. :) The only road block for me is I have a cold, sore throat - taking antibiotics and Clariton, so I'm not at my best, but all is well so far. I've been lucky - when Rick was sick in bed for 15 days and my entire family seemed to come down with the flu all I had a slight sore throat that went away without intervention...maybe it was simmering because it sure hurts this time! On the mend though....

Thanks Nokie! I did get your message, thanks! I've been so busy lately trying to get a new business up and running, something very different from my past banking career. This is more for fun, and I'm truly enjoying it - and making money to boot! Have you heard of Jockey Person to Person Women's clothing line? I'm starting to get busy, leaving me little time for anything else. That's the good news! :) Check out my web site: www.myjockeyp2p.com/luscomfortzone

Allison actually introduced me to Jockey - she said I'd love it and I do~!

Due to many reasons my workouts have been few and not terribly intense, I know I really have no excuse, but life tends to interfere - but I'm still on the first cycle of the 17 Day Diet (again!) so I'm probably not getting the nutrients needed anyway. So....the verdict this morning is....drum roll......

168.6 ! It's going in the right direction, but I think Allison is in the lead.....Lynne - do we have a number on you?

I'm now off to the Chiropractor - my arm/shoulder is improving!! Woot! Woot! Apparently it hurts but heals.... :D

We have a close one girls~! Woo Hoo~! I think we are ALL going to make our goal~! Maybe we should all go to Madrid, I think I saw that Bossman was buying

At the chiropractor he cracked my back and neck...felt much better! My arm/shoulder feels pretty good! I came home and jumped on the treadmill, but stopped at 25 minutes. My HR skyrocketed up to the 180's (I let go on the sensors and tried several times just to see if it was a fluke) - but it MUST be an error with the treadmill but didn't want to take any chances, that was just too high!

did you try taking it manually? How did you feel? Had you eaten much yet for the day? Hydrated? there could be alot of different factors for the HR being high. Be careful Lu! We can't have you keeling over....that would disqualify you from our little contest.

I'm rolling over laughing!!!!

No, I didn't take it manually - frankly I wouldn't know how! But I'm feeling ok, eating good, no issue there, well hydrated, I'm stumped! My BP is normally low....my HR on the Treadmill when I'm strong and steady runs in the 130's - weird huh?

What do you think about American Idol??? I can't believe Pia was voted off - she has the MOST talent of them all!!! I know she will do well, but I'm really ticked - I can't believe Paul is still standing. Pia should have been in the finale - I'm so disappointed :(

I finally caught up on AI this week and I am furious that Pia was sent home!!!! Obviously people thought she was safe so they weren't voting for her. I have to disagree with you about Paul though, he is one of my favorites, I LOVE his voice :D And I enjoy looking at him  In my opinion Stefano should have been gone last night.

Great job on the competition ladies :D Keep it up!
