Yer, it can happen. I'm just carrying on and hopefully it will catch up for next week's weigh in.

Weighed in today at the gym at 91.8kg, a loss of 0.9kg. I've finally bought some decent electronic scales so I'm going to start to be able to weigh myself at home and at a consistant time. My weigh in next week will likely be a big drop because I won't be wearing my gym gear, but will be my actual weight. Pretty happy with the loss this week :)

Weighed in at home at 90kg exactly this morning. The loss looks bigger that it was as I wasn't in my gym gear and was first thing in the morning, I think I only lost about 0.2kg this week or so. I think I need to eat again after my dinner, as I keep going to bed hungry. Last week I also managed to jog at 11km/h for 30mins continuously on 3 occassions down the gym :) Really happy to see that my fitness has dramatically improved since I started (sturggled to complete 3 minutes at 9km/h lol). Back on HIIT this week though, had a killer one today heh.

Hey guys. It's been a couple weeks since I last posted so I thought I'd give you an update. I'm currently down to 88.1kg. I lost 0.4kg this week, and 0.5kg the previous week. They were a couple hard weeks and really tested my diet. I had to work pretty much every hour I was awake on finishing up my final year university project (programming and then a huge write up). I only managed to fit in one gym session each week but still managed to lose because I kept strong on my diet.

Finally free from university apart from exams in a month's time, so I'm able to get back to my routine :)

Nice control on the eats fella. That could have been an excuse to get a bit slobby and laxe, but above all else, when certain aspects of lifestyle couln't be feasible as much, you held firm on other things and made some progress.

There's a good lesson to learn for some, so well done and keep believing.

GOOD LUCK on the exams, you'll be fine. If you've done what you know is your best, in the leadup, you can only ask for that whatever the results.

Cheers Boss. Had my weigh in this morning, down to 87.0, a loss of 1.1. I think the big loss was my body responding to heavy workouts after being deprived from regular workouts the 2 previous weeks. Not too worried that it was a larger loss in a single week than I should be aiming for.

As for my degree, I have no idea what I'm going to do after it finishes. Worrying but exciting. This year will be interesting lol.

Hey guys. Had a bad week as I was over at my twin's at the weekend and had a couple nights of heavy drinking. Don't even want to post the weight this week as I'm retreading lost ground. On a side note, some random guy who is down the gym regularly randomly spoke to me today and was asking me about my weight. He'd seen me over the entire journey so far and was congratulating me on my weight loss. Was awesome to have a stranger notice and say something. Had a nice heavy session yesterday and today so I should be on for a good weight on monday.

Heh. Me starting also got him into losing weight. He's lost 70lbs but hasn't put on as much muscle. I think if I hadn't put on muslce I'd have lost 70 by now too heh. He's down at my gym with me this week and next whilst he's down. It's fun pushing him hard on the weights :D

Oh so it's a quid pro quo scenario. You teach him how to weightlift, he teaches you how to pace yourself on the booze :P :P

Weighed in this morning and came in at 87.8kg. I've been floating around 87 and 88 for the last 3 weeks now and it's starting to get annoying. I've been exercising and eating right over that time aswell, which makes it even more annoying. I'm going to try and have another good week this week. Had a great workout this morning. I've finally started doing 6km runs (something I wouldn't have been able to do 10 months ago). Last week I did the 6km in 31:39, this week was 32:43. About a minute off last week, but I ran it alone this week which seems to have had an effect.

I'm also trying a new shoulder workout. I had a go at doing a set of Dumbbell Lateral Raises (10 reps), and then a set of Dumbbell Front Raises (10 reps). I did this 3 times. I then did upright rows with an EZ Bar, 10 reps wide grip, 10 reps close grip. I did 4 sets of this. I increased the weight on the last 2 sets. From what I can tell, I'm hitting the traps with the rows and the lateral raises, but I'm worried I'm not hitting the posterior deltoids or anterior deltoids enough. Any suggestions?

You could incroporate Front Raises in there, with dumbbells or with a barbell.
