LOL! As you have probably picked up by now, I am not always the most graceful person in the world - sometimes I wonder how it's possible that I have never broken a bone

FINALLY!!!! I got off my tush and forced myself to do my Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism DVD. And it kicked my butt  I struggled through the entire thing, but I finished. I am going to be hurting tomorrow

Tomorrow night I have an appointment so I won't be able to work out.

I have to admit, I am a little disappointed. I thought I was going to be really sore today but I'm not :( I can feel it a bit, but I definitely thought it would be more.

I guess I spoke too soon - the longer I sit here the more my abs and legs hurt when I move  And since I won't be able to workout tonight, I am sure it will be worse tomorrow :D

I have one word to describe today - OUCH  Why does Day 2 always have to be the worst

I didn't have time to workout last night so now tonight I have to decide what to do - elliptical or go for the DVD from Hell again  I am thinking I should just be brave and go for the DVD from Hell!

I forgot how much this department is dedicated to it's junk food! First, there is the co-worker who eats candy all day (but at least that is taken care of for now). Then since there are over 50 people in this department there are a TON of birthdays. And tomorrow is a potluck  Fortunately I had the willpower to not sign up for the potluck so I won't be tempted to gorge myself on that stuff tomorrow :D But today's birthday has cake and chips and dip - I am calling on my willpower to get me through the day!

I think potlucks are worse! I don't have the willpower to not eat all the other stuff that's there. I am better with the going-out-to-lunch dates. I am OK at ordering something healthy - then I am not tempted by the other stuff that others ordered once it is at the table because I know I can't have it. I tend to graze all day when it comes to potlucks. And if I bring my own food instead of joining in the potluck, I can still eat with my co-workers, I just don't have the option of eating all of the crap that they brought :D

Well, I got home and was so tired I just wanted to sit down, but I forced myself to do the Burn Fat, Boost Metabolism DVD. The first half was pure torture because my legs and abs hurt so bad, but after a while the pain kind of disappeared behind my utter exhaustion :P I was a little surprised I made it through the whole thing. The only thing I have trouble with is the scissor kicks so I only do about half of them - I think it is more mental than anything though.

I am not as sore as I was all day since I got the workout in, but I must say I am a little scared to wake up tomorrow

that's the way to do it - just power through and get it done.

Well, I woke up and had forgotten about the pain. Then I stood up  Let's just say the stairs are not my friends today  I am guessing it is going to get worse before it gets better. I only work until 11:00 today. Then the rest of the afternoon and tomorrow as well I will be painting, so that should be interesting with the pain in my legs!

I am in so much pain right now I can barely function  I was already in pain from this week's workouts, but then I spent another 4 hours painting today (half of the area I did last weekend, I re-painted one room of the two room bedroom). My shoulders feel like they may just fall right out of the sockets.

Tomorrow is going to be another long day of painting, I still have to paint all of the woodwork upstairs. When I bought the house the downstairs woodwork was painted white (which I love, since the original woodwork is the worst orangey stain I have ever seen). But they never did the upstairs, so that is my last task of painting my house - thank goodness it will be over

But since I hurt this much tonight I am assuming by tomorrow afternoon it will be even worse. I am still hoping I can squeeze in a workout, but it may just be the elliptical for a little cardio.

I'm sure all your hard work will be worth it in the long run. Just take a nice long warm soaking bath when you are done, use some epson salts - burn a nice scented candle, relax and hopefully it will ease some of the soreness. :)
