20 km stationary bike, RPE 8

Quads are really tight today. The bike commute will be brutal tomorrow :?

It's 1:20 in the morning and I am remembering that I have not updated this in over a week.

Things are still going well - biking to work a couple times a week, and doing Crossfit 2-3 times per week. I still swim or run once, and am feeling good. I need to eat a bit more so I am working on that.

Will try to post a complete week of workouts this week.

I'm sucking at maintaining this thread!

I'll just post more photos at the next 3 month increment and read everyone else's threads.

The main thing is you're still here and still making a difference to others and that is appreciated :).

So no worries at all. Sometimes people do run out of things to write about themselves, it's just the way it is.

For closure's sake: I did not maintain this for very long at all.

It turns out the journalling thing doesn't work for me, but visiting and reading other people's does. I'm still doing Crossfit 3x per week, and biking to work. I did a mini-triathlon last weekend and it was so much fun I'm going to train for a proper one. Good times all around.

I haven't lost or gained weight, and am trying some new things and spending as much time as possible outside during the summer months here in Winnipeg.

See you around the forums!

CONGRATS on the Triathlon and good to read you're planning on doing another one.

I'm proud of you for your efforts and it seems you are someone that might become a really good athlete, if your athletic ability thus far, can be expanded upon with a bigger Triathlon.

I hope you're proud of yourself, you deserve to be. Great news and always a pleasure and a privilege to have you around.

GOOD LUCK in everything you do and keep believing in yourself, because you're a superb person and someone that has the ability to touch people with their heart. A great gift and sharing it with us is always appreciated.

Good to see you around again :).

P.S. Just saw your 3 month progress pics. Seriously, WELL DONE on the results. You really got some great stats improvement after 3 months, especially getting that 1.5" reduction on the hips, (alwyas a problem area for females).

I know you can continue to build on those results and I also know you WILL. Considering you had a serious injury, it makes what you achieved all the more impressive and as ever we will support you as often as we can, as often as you'll let us :).

Thanks Boss! Always there with a kind word.

I should post some news pics actually, it's been 6 months (!!!) since the last instalment. Thanks again, and good to see you too!

I'm sure you'll have done a great job Karrie. I appreciate it must have been a real begger having that broken leg ruining progress, but I know you're strong and motiviated enough to have gotten over that and forged back onto a good progressive path.

Keep believing and good luck :).
