Recovery Foods/Nutrients

Postby shiznit770 » Tue Aug 16, 2011 1:43 pm

I recently started a rigorous exercise regime and diet in an effort to lose 10 pounds in 20 days. I plan on exercising every day or even twice a day if I can only squeeze in 30min workouts.

Me:
male / 27yrs
5'10"
210lbs

I'm looking for foods that will help my muscles recover as quickly as possible and maintain a high energy level.

Here's what I've been eating for the first 5 days of my routine.

Breakfast (post workout)
-egg whites w/ toast
-orange juice

Lunch
-chicken
-tuna
-melon/cantaloupe/pineapple

Dinner (post workout)
-steak/chicken/fish
-green vegetable
-potato

Snack
-banana

You dont need a rigorous exercise regime to loose weight. I lost 20lbs already training only 7 minutes a day 3 times a week using the program It is easy to use and is not a yo yo diet, its simply PFM- protein is power, fiber is your friend and muscle is magic. 1lb of muscle burns 100 calories....http://7minuteworkout.com.co/

It doesn't, it burns around 45-50 calories, not 100.
