peeling fingers

Postby Iron Guts » Thu Jun 14, 2007 6:06 pm

My finger tips have recenlty started peeling after I get out of the shower or wash my hands. It's never happened before and I can't think of anything that's changed, diet, activity, etc. Anyone know what's up?

Sunburn or harmful chemicals are the major reason of peeling fingers. So, for these fingers use olive oil.Add the few drops of olive oil in water then wash your hands.Massage with olive oil is also beneficial for peeling hands.

You should discuss this with your doctor. It can be another issue not related to chemicals (but can). But please do discuss this with your doctor.

This happened to me when I was a kid. The only thing I can think of is, I was a swimmer and in chlorine daily??

Harsh soaps can damage our skin; make sure to use mild soap only and if you’re washing the dishes or doing the laundry wear rubber gloves to protect your skin from peeling and damage. Use hydrating lotion and keep yourself hydrated by drinking water every day.
