Bring it on Sargent Nokie :D

I carpool and this wasn’t my week to drive so I can’t go anywhere (and I am 45 minutes from anything anyways, I work in Timbuktu!). I am working late tonight and when I get home I have somebody waiting for me to do some work in my basement (which I have to help with), so I won’t have time to stop anywhere. But on a positive note, the cereal I will be eating is Kashi Go Lean so it has protein in it. I know, it’s not the best option, but on short notice it is the best I can do – my other option would be to eat the Froot Loops that are leftover from the kids staying at my house :)

Keep that positive attitude Joc! That's what I like to hear. You'll be back at it full strength in no time! :D

I like the kashi go lean cereal. :D

Fine the time to boil some Eggs, then keep them stored in tin foil and have one a day, because they are easy to transport. You might be able manage about 7 at a time on one day of the week, so it's a once a week thing, assuming you have the required cooking equipment to boil things

So are packets of low Salt Peanuts, which are good for Protein, Carbs and Fats, so you've got options you can have with you.

Assuming you have no problems eating peanuts.

Same goes for Yoghurt pots. Easy to transport and store in some kind of tupperware.

Think outside the box and a few solutions come to hand sometimes :).

If things ever get a little too much, PM me and we'll try to work through the emotional stuff together okay. You are a really heart-waming Lady Jocelyn and any way this community can be here for you, we will :).

I don’t remember if I posted last week, but I lost .6 pounds last week. Now this week I somehow managed to lose .4 – I don’t really understand how that is even possible, but I guess I will take it. I know stress can do strange things to a person.

Today’s menu:

Breakfast – oatmeal with 1 egg, a little milk and truvia

Snack – banana and a protein shake

Lunch – 1 Foldie (my new favorite bread – it is flatbread – you just fold it in half, 90 calories) with sliced turkey, 2 tomato slices, alfalfa sprouts, a slice of LF cheese, and a little mayo (I thought I had light mayo but apparently it got tossed last week so I had to use regular so I just used a little), ½ an orange pepper, 100 calorie pack of the yogurt covered pretzels

Snack – small orange and 2 slices LF string cheese

Dinner – Undecided

I am getting frustrated because now I can’t go to the gym once again tonight. I have someone insulating my cellar and my pipes and I have to go with him tonight to buy all of the material. My gym hours kind of suck so by the time I get home from that I won’t have time to get there. I really need to consider changing to the gym by my house, I would have 24 hour access there…

Maybe you can try to do some bodyweight workout or circuit training at home if you can’t go to the gym?
Good job on the weight loss and no gain... really good

The only place I have room to do anything in my house would be in my living room, and this guy will be there all evening working, so he will be going in and out of that room - I doubt I will be working out there  I had thought about doing one of my dvd's until I remembered he would be walking through there all night

I would think of it as I'm at a gym and there's people! LOL... but easy said than done.
Maybe Stretch in the living room while watching TV??

It's not so much an issue of somebody watching me (although it would be uncomfortable and I don't know if I would be able to do it anyway) but my living room is tiny - I would have to continuously stop while he is carrying stuff back and forth. Either that or he would have to stop and wait for me (and since I am paying him by the hour I am not going to let that happen  ).

The Weight before Fitness

T’was my weight before fitness, and up on the scale
I saw numbers a-stirring, and I turned quite pale
My “thin jeans” were folded in the dresser with care,
In hopes that someday soon I would fit in a pair.

Decked in my sweat pants I took to my bed,
While weight loss resolutions danced in my head.
When I awoke in the morning my ideas they came,
And I thought them all through and I wrote them by name:

“Choose fruits! Choose veggies! Eat correct portion sizes!
Start walking! Get moving! Try new exercises!”
I could see to the future --- and, wow, I look great!
Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away weight!”

And then I kept going, for weeks I did work
At eating well and exercising for the health perks.
My eyes --- how they twinkle! My waist is so lean!
After doing this program, you’ll see what I mean.

Now get ready and set to begin your new quest
For a trim, healthy body and a spirit of zest.
And here’s my last wish, as my little poem writes,
“Health and fitness to you, and to you a great life.”

Thought I should update, I have been MIA for a bit. Things are pretty hectic right now so I don't have a lot of spare time! I didn't lose anything last week, I stayed exactly the same, so at least I didn't gain  I haven't been able to workout as much as I would like to, but I have been out of town a lot and pretty much busy from the time I wake up to the time I pass out  As much as I love the holidays I am ready for them to be over! I weigh again tomorrow - I am not real hopeful because we had a family shopping weekend and then my nieces had their birthday party. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, though :D Hope everyone is having a great week!

We have 8 days of work left before the holidays. 8 days! They will definitely be over quickly.

You never know about the scale that's for sure. Good luck tomorrow when you weigh in. :)
