Thanks, Boss. I'm hoping to get around 10 or so pounds off before I head back to school. c:

So... I disappeared for a for a day. Why you might ask? I forgot to let you all know that I got a job! I interviewed on Saturday and they hired me on the spot. I trained for 6.5 hours yesterday and I have my first shift on Sunday. I'm stoked! The girls I'm working with seem really nice and I really enjoy the store. Sooo... yay! As for eating yesterday... It was pretty dismal. I didn't eat at all until the break I decided to take at about 3:30 in the afternoon. So yeah. Ouch.

Today is going better so far. I weighed myself and I'm down to 241.2 so my running total of weight loss is 9.2 pounds. I'm hoping to keep up this kind of pace, so long as I can go grocery shopping soon, we shouldn't have the slightest bit of a problem seeing as for breakfasts as of late, I've been eating sugary cereal or today even worse, I ate a cookie . But only one. Anywho. On for tracking today.. c: I'm listening to Tran-Siberian Orchestra Christmas music and it makes me want to decorate the whole house. c:

I make my own schedule and since I do retail at a mall, I can't really take good food with me, but hopefully I can figure something out. My schedule will be different every week, so I'm going to focus on my eating on my days off and I'm trying to get shifts at night so I can get a good workout in in the morning and stuff. Only time will tell though. Thanks for everything, Boss! :3

Yesterday was my first shift at the my job at Macys. I have to say, 8 hours on your feet in dress flats..... Ow. Also, the socks I was wearing gave me huge bruises behind my knees. I'm really confused as to why that occurred, but I'm getting new socks. In any case, I need to find a way to keep my flats from mutilating my poor feet which are still very sore. Oh well. More slightly ew news. I've gained .9 pounds, I hope that it's just water retention or something and I can get rid of it soon.

10:40 Wake Up (Yup, slept forever, I went to bed at 11 last night)

- 1 banana [[Calories 104, Fat .4, Carbs 27, Fibre 3, Sugar 14.4, Protein 1.2, Sodium 1.2]]

Hopefully the feet will feel better soon. how do you like it? I worked in retail for a part time job for a while Loved the discount but the job itself wasn't my thing. The discount was nice though.

Try to wear some supportive shoes if you can maybe that will help?

I liked the job itself. I mean it wasn't too good for my nerves since I'm highly shy, but I think it could be a good way for me to work on my shyness, as for the discount, I don't really care since I don't shop at Macys.

I wore ballet flats thinking a nice flat shoe would be good, I've been doing some reading since and that's actually not good for your feet. I'm going to either buy some new shoes or get some insoles or something. :)

Yes, those flimsy flats can be just as much of an issue as the nasty hooker types, because a female is practically walkin on the floor and those things have a lot of give in the middle when flexed in the hand, as I've seen demonstated on TV before now.

If you had something like a black or brown laced shoe with a rubber heel and or sole, depnding on the shaping of the undersides, you'd probably be fine, as you'd have more cushioing.

I know females can get those ones with the large thick rubber heels that are about 2" and the 1" fronts with a good grippy tread, because you sometimes notice these things in the corner of your eye when you're out or your buying shoes for yourself, so no doubt you'll find something to suit.

Well, I can't even get my discount since I don't have enough credit to be approved for a Macy's card which is the only way you get your employee discount.. :c

I bought some insoles for my flats because I thought all the shoes that are made for being on your feet alot were a) ugly and b) way too expensive. Macy's is a pretty high end department store so having stylish shoes and clothes are important when you work there. I work tonight 6:45pm-12:15am so I'm hoping the stuff I bought works and I don't end up wanting to cry by the end of the night. In any case, I thought I toss up a mini update before I go cook dinner. c:
