Try increasing the foods that contain Copper. Copper has some effects on Melantonin, that is a substance used by the body to colour hair and reduced levels of Melantonin can lead to greying. I think it is used to help the body produce Melantonin, as opposed to assisting with the use of Melantonin, but I do't know much about that process to be honest.

Such foods include Beans, Rice, Leafy greens, Wholegrains and I think, Liver, Shellfish and Pork also.

I you're a little low on Copper intake, try increasing through food, but be wary to use a supplement incase you get too much in your body, as that could lead to things like Copper Toxicity and Wilson's Disease.

Copper also helps with the bodies interaction between Collagen and Bones. It assists with the getting Collagen into bones, but I'm not sure how though and it also helps improve the use and storage of Iron, so it could help to decrease Anaemia risk. It should be noted though that too much as stated before, can actually interfere with Iron as I understand it, so another reason to be cautious about using Copper supplements.

The daily requirement for most is 2-3mg's a day.

You could try googling the words Copper, Melantonin and "grey hair" at the same time and see what comes up.

11.03.11
6:30 – Black coffee, oatmeal, eggs
9:30 – Soymilk, Hard boiled eggs x2
12:00 – Won ton soup
3:30 – Low – Fat string cheese, protein shake
5:00 – Meal replacement
7:30 – Scramble egg whites with veggies

I’m a happy camper today… I had a good night sleep (crashed @ 9:30PM & up at 5:30AM) Full 8 hours  !!! And I have food in my belly!!!… Oh yeah    So, I told my boss I’ll stay behind a couple of hours for the next few months.

Ok… More copper. Sometimes, it makes me scared of supplements… like I’m over doing it. Here is what I have so far:

CLA (Tonalin)
Fish Oil (Kirkland)
Multivitamins (Centrum)
Iron (Spring Valley)
Melatonin (Spring Valley)
Triple Flex (Nature Made)
And 2 more stuff (I forgot… My fiancé usually just put it in the box of medicine “days” for me. LOL…. b/c I forget to take them at night) :P

Well if you're taking Melantonin, then forget about using a Copper one.

11.04.11
6:30 – Coffee, soymilk, weetabix 2
9:30 – Beef udon noodle
12:00 – Green salad, side tuna, side dressing
2:30 – Low-fat string cheese, hard boiled egg
4:00 – Weights = Protein shake
6:30 – Sweet and sour soup

Saturday – 8AM – Kickboxing 45/60mins
Sunday – Elliptical 60mins/ZUMBA abs 15mins

Clarification – I asked my fiancé what he put in my medicine/vitamin box for me to take every night….

I listed most of it… I happen to mistake Milk thistle for Melatonin.

Melatonin is for him. He takes melatonin because he has sleeping issue and has research melatonin is suppose to be a better than those off the counter medications.

So… question, should I also take Melatonin or should I try to increase Copper?
Maybe, I should start taking Melatonin at night and increase copper through diet.

Becky, my hours vary from time to time… Last week I worked 7 days and pulled over 100hrs. (12-16hrs... that’s NOT even tax season yet!!!) I wouldn’t have to work so much if that arrogant airhead knows what to do. However, things are getting better… I found out, I wasn’t the only that had to deal with the nasty attitude just the workload! But the issue escalated to upper management, beyond my boss and to the VP. Unfortunately that 100hrs of work wasn’t any of my projects… now… I have the end of the year to finish my project because I'm behind. I’ll be working 40-60hrs or more per week until the end of the year to complete it. Then work lots more when Tax season hits (60-100hrs) or I might be working less if they hire temps, things are up in the air regarding hours … One thing for sure, right after tax season, I'm off to get married and travel somewhere… no clue yet… LOL …. Trust me, I won’t be thinking about work one bit!!!

100 hours in a week? That doesn't even deserve  that's more like

The honeymoon i think will be the funnest part to plan. You could go tropical or international a lot of fun choices to choose from. Personally i think i would go international. I've always wanted to go to Europe or Austrailia.

A friend went to switzerland for her honeymoon during the summer. She had pics on facebook. Looked beautiful.

I had time tonight to post pictures of the wedding dress I bought. If I can lose weight, they will alter it in.
If I maintain the weight, it will stay the same... If I happen to "gain" it's lace up... so, I'll be safe.. LOL :P
I will also post my body-frame pix... Whoa, it's been 1 month already since I posted the last one up...
I REALLY need to work on my arms.... well, ALL OVER!! I need to be more strict

Oh my gosh Nokie! It is beautiful!! And you look amazing in it. I can already see that you have slimmed down since you posted the other pics of you in wedding dresses. Your hard work is paying off. I know you want to lose more weight, but just know that if you don't - you look great, just like you are right now.
Beautiful dress, beautiful girl = lucky man.

You have nothing to feel bad about. Just keep working at what you're doing and more progress will come. He's marrying someone who is beautiful on the inside and that is something he should never forget :).

Thank you everybody. I was feeling down not too long ago because my mom said I should have got the other dress because I looked skinner. The current dress makes me look big and my arms are chunky. Yeah, it hurt. Then I had doubts like I rushed to buy the dress. I didn’t eat that night and got all grumpy… LOL… I kept looking at the pictures like forever then posted online.

At the end, I finally decided that I will NOT return the dress b/c I bought it already and I liked it when I first bought it. I don’t think I’m that big… yeah, there’s room for improvements and I’m working on it. My mom will forever say I’m chunky no matter what unless I’m a size ZERO. Sorry mom, I don’t think I will ever be a stick.…. Thank you all for your kind words… it helps me a lot when I get slap with harsh words and low self-esteem. :)

11.07.11
5:00AM – Kick Boxing (25mins) – Protein shake
7:30AM – Black Coffee, oatmeal, scramble eggs
10:30AM – Meal Replacement
12:00PM – Turbo Kick Boxing (45mins) protein shake
1:30PM – Baked fish, steamed broccoli, brown rice 1/4c
3:30PM – Hard Boiled eggs x 2, plain yogurt and honey
6:00PM – Grilled chicken, leafy greens
8:30/9– Protein shake (If still hungry)

Got up this morning, I did cardio kick boxing. 10mins in to it I realized I was supposed to do weights… LOL  … ohwell next week, I’ll get it right.

We had daylight saving this weekend so it’s easier for me to get up however, its hecka COLD!!! But I gotta do what I gotta to reach my goal…!!! :P

Here is what I’m aiming for workout… it’s still tentative

Monday – Weights AM /Kick boxing (class) – lunch
Tuesday – Kick Boxing AM/ Zumba abs PM (home)
Wednesday – Zumba AM/ Weights (class) – lunch
Thursday – Kick Boxing AM/ Zumba (class) - lunch
Friday – Weights AM/ Kick Boxing (class) – lunch
Saturday – Kick Boxing (home or class)
Sunday – Easy rest day or easy elliptical with the entertainment of Japanese animation!

I know, it looks a lot but it’s really not. I’m trying to make time for my workouts because I tend to miss it here and there. If I did the morning workout, but have to miss lunch workout and have to stay late at work then its fine because I got a workout in! And if I get to do both workout morning and lunch… that’s even better more calories burn... LOL…

I’m trying to aim for weights workout 3 times a week and every other day same time trying to have time for cardio.

One of my girlfriends asked me if I like to run with her. She said it will help me lose a lot of weight. She’s the type who likes to join race and asked if I wanted to do it with her. I flat out said no thank you. Love you and love the idea of racing but at the moment I’m not into it. I would like to stick to what I enjoy to keep me going. I really enjoy classes like kick boxing, weights and zumba. I even have dvd’s of it at home to keep me working out. I’m not a runner and I know I’m not because I feel sleepy when I run unless I do intervals by forcing myself. But when I do kick boxing and sweat so much and smile while doing it, I give it my all. Maybe… sometime along the line…I might enjoy and nice run… maybe... just maybe… :P

When I go home tonight… I’ll try to post up my pix from last month and this month. I personally don’t see a difference but it’s only a month… I dunno if I took measurements last month or I just can’t find it. So, I can’t compare numbers… I got a BIG notebook for this month’s measurements.

Hey Nokie i'm sorry your mom said that. :( I get along well with my mom but she can be insensitve sometimes too. She says things that i don't even think she realizes how hurtful it sounds. I told someone else what she said once, not to be mean because i didn't even realize how mean it sounded till i said it. Than i told my mom that i told that person what she said and then she was embarrased. It wasn't until she saw how someone else would view it did she "get it" that it was a mean thing to say. I think sometimes they don't realize.

Any consolation i loved you in your dress and i showed my mom as well and she thought it was beautiful too! :D
