Kris Bierek
- Founder & President
Kris created ShapeFit to provide quality health
and fitness information to people from all over the world so they can live healthier
and happier lives. Kris was an all state defensive lineman for Glencoe High School
in Hillsboro, Oregon and excelled as a 4-year varsity golf team member. Kris graduated
from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and has
been involved in Internet development since 1999. He has an extensive background
in strength training, nutrition and wellness planning. He created FitTracker to
provide an easy way for anyone to get nutrient dense meal plans and intense workout
routines every week.
Kurt Bierek
- Vice President
Kurt was an All-State shortstop in baseball and an All-State
quarterback in football for Glencoe High School in Hillsboro, Oregon. He received
a full baseball scholarship to the University of Southern California in 1991.
Kurt was drafted and signed in the 1993 Major League Baseball Draft as a third
baseman in the 6th round (4th pick) by the New York Yankees. He played a total
of 10 seasons in the minor-leagues, earning All-Star honors several times at various
levels (A, AA, AAA) and at multiple positions (first base and outfield). Kurt
earned Rookie-of-the-Year honors in the International League at the Triple-A (AAA)
level with the Columbus Clippers in 1999. His knowledge and experience as a professional
athlete has helped him develop many of the areas within FitTracker.
