I grew up in Asheville, North Carolina. I went to Asheville High School then ABTech. I moved to Raleigh to study to be what I am now, a certified personal trainer.

How and why did you get started in fitness?
I got started in fitness because I was chubby as a child and I grew up reading comic books and saw how the superheroes looked and I wanted to look like them. I lost the weight and saw good results and I wanted to keep going.

What is the best thing about being fit and living a healthy lifestyle?
The best thing about being fit and healthy is that I’m able to do more for a longer period of time. I also like how people will come up and ask me how I got into great shape. I enjoy motivating and inspiring others to go beyond their physical limits to get to where they want to be.
