am amazed at how many teens and young adults lack proper eating
habits with the biggest sin being that they miss their vegetable
and fruit intake by huge numbers. I help moderate a few online message
boards and have noticed in the diets being posted that the individuals
just list carbs and proteins with very little to no veggies or they
will have a few items but none will be the most needed which are
fibrous green veggies - instead stuffing themselves with yams or
carrots which are fine but by far do not replace greens.

to take up free time. I try to fit in exercise when I can but I
would like a good diet regimen to help my weight loss? Could you
advise me on any good diet regimen I could use?
A. In terms of the clean foods you should focus on including
lean protein sources (chicken breast, turkey breast, egg whites)
and lean fibrous carbs coming mostly from non-starchy vegetables
(broccoli, mushrooms, yellow squash, green peppers, etc.) Try and
limit all starchy carbs from your diet and limit fruit after 6pm,
since it contains lots of simple sugars which will effect your insulin

How many times a week should I work an individual muscle? I used
to just rotate every 3 days, then I read that you should only due
a particular muscle once a week. What's your opinion?
A. Try and focus more on the amount of rest
between workouts. You should always give each muscle group at least
48 hours of rest between workouts. If your really training them
