Registered Dietitians in Simi Valley California - Cynthia A. Ray

Cynthia graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a bachelor's degree in nutritional science. Following the completion of her bachelor's degree she continued to receive her master's in Public Health, Health Education at California Sate University, Northridge where she also completed her dietetic internship within the college of Family and Consumer Sciences. She is also certified through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) as a Health Fitness Specialist and Nutrition and Fitness Specialist. Cynthia is also an AFAA certified group fitness instructor and personal trainer.

Cynthia became registered as a dietitian in California by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Her area of expertise is eating disorders as well as behavior modification for weight management. As a health educator Cynthia focuses her time and attention on educating individuals and the community on the meaning of "true health," including how to achieve and sustain it.

Cynthia currently runs a private practice based Simi Valley, California called "Well Within" where she provides one-on-one and group sessions as well as personal training.
