Dana Chais, MS, RD, CDE, CDN

Dana Chais, MS, RD, CDE, CDN has been a Registered Dietitian for over 10 years. Dana maintains a private practice in the NYC metropolitan area counseling clients with a variety of nutritional concerns. These include cardiovascular disease, hypertension, diabetes, digestive disorders and weight management. She is also a part-time Senior Clinical Dietitian at a leading New York City medical center providing nutritional care for both acute-care and outpatient settings.

In addition, Dana participates in weight management and wellness programs at the Center for Corporate Wellness at NYU Medical Center. She also is a contributing consultant to health and wellness journals published by Pocket Reference Journals, Inc. as well as being a contributor to the internet health publication www.womenConnect.com.

As a graduate from Boston University with a B.A. in Psychology, Dana went on to complete her nutrition internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center and earn a Masters in Nutrition from Hunter College. She is active in several professional organizations including The American Dietetic Association, The Greater New York Dietetic Association and The Crohns' and Colitis Foundation and The American Association of Diabetes Educators.
