Jeanette Waite, MS, RD, CDE

Jeanette has been a registered dietitian for 26 years. She holds a Masters of Science degree in Human Nutrition and has been a certified diabetic educator for 12 years. Jeanette works in an outpatient setting at a wellness facility in association with a local hospital. Her main job responsibilities are individual and group nutrition education for Medical/Surgical weight management, cardiac, diabetic, pulmonary, and eating disorder patients.

Jeanette is also featured periodically on a local TV station for advice on nutrition, has been interviewed and quoted in the local newspaper, and has also published articles in local health and profession newsletters. Jeanette had developed a nutrition program for surgical weight management. She also does healthy cooking classes at the wellness facility. Jeanette has also taught cooking classes at the area college. In her leisure, Jeanette enjoys reading, cooking, gardening, walking her dogs with her husband and son, and playing pool.

Jeanette is available for nutrition breakdowns of recipes/diets. She can modify recipes to lower fat/calories/sugars.
