Registered Dietitians in Fort Wayne Indiana - Misti Evans
Misti serves as a media spokes person for weight loss issues. Misti's has been featured in the USA Today, and sits on the obesity panel for the Journal Gazette's Weighty Matters project. She is the past president of the Northeast Indiana Dietetics Association and is currently committee chair for National Nutrition Month. In her career, Misti enjoys being able to re-shape the lifestyles of individuals and help them reach their personal goals. When she is not working or volunteering, Misti can be found spending time with her husband and their 2 girls, scrapbooking, stamping or reading books. Misti's favorite take away message is, "it takes 21 days to make something a habit, and only 1 day to break it".

Misti
Evans is a registered dietitian, certified weight management dietitian
and certified nutrition educator. Misti obtained her Bachelor of
Science degree at Ball State University and then completed a Masters
of Science degree in nutrition at Eastern Illinois University. Currently
she is the manager of the Lutheran Weight Management Center (www.lutheranhospital.com)
and St. Joseph Bariatric Center (www.stjoehospital.com) in Ft. Wayne,
Indiana. Over the past 7 years, she has had the opportunity to counsel
all degrees of weight loss. Misti developed the Beyond Diets program
for clients with a BMI of 30 or less, counseled clients with a BMI
of 30 or greater in the OPTIFAST program, implemented the Adolescent
and Childhood Education program for children and their families,
and just recently developed and is counseling bariatric patients.
