Sara Simard, RD, LDN

Sara Simard is a registered dietitian (RD) and licensed dietitian nutritionist (LDN). After obtaining a Bachelors of Science (BS) degree in nutritional sciences from Penn State University, Sara received her RD certification though the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center Clinical Nutrition Department Dietetic Internship in Baltimore Maryland. Sara is currently pursing a Master of Health Science with a concentration in Health Care Administration from Towson University in Towson Maryland. Sara's interests within the dietetic field are weight management, health and wellness and sports nutrition. Sara is a member of the American Dietetic Association and Sports Cardiovascular and Wellness Nutritionists dietetic practice group. Sara is certified in adult weight management through the American Dietetic Association. She is a mentor for undergraduate nutrition students through the College of Health and Human Development at Penn State University. Sara works full time as the outpatient bariatric surgery dietitian at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore Maryland and does consulting on the side within the Baltimore/Washington area.
