Six Pack Abs Questions - Toning Ab Exercises After Appendix Surgery

fitness-advice Question:
I had surgery 6 weeks ago for a ruptured appendix. I desperately need to start doing AB work. Is it safe and can you give me some simple easy going exercises to start off with?

fitness-advice Answer:
I highly recommend contacting your physician to make sure its fine for you to start doing abdominal exercises. The most important thing is that you have completely healed from the surgery and your abs/midsection are strong enough to begin training.

If you're holding fat in your abs (stomach area), remember that your diet is crucial for eliminating this adipose tissue from your body. You need to eat the right foods in order to shed the unwanted fat. After you get your doctor's OK, focus on these ab exercises for great results:
