Jackie's Weight Loss Story!
When did you become unhappy with your weight?
After I gave birth to our third child I noticed my weight being
at an all time high and it was hard for me to move. My body and
joints hurt all the time.
What made you decide to lose weight?
I looked at my children and decided is was not fair to cheat
them out of a long life with their mother. I was being selfish
with my health and not thinking of those who needed and loved
me most.
What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
Exercise,
exercise and exercise! This along with balance in food
choices.
What was most challenging about losing weight?
Changing my bad habits without changing other peoples habits
is still very hard. I had to change how I celebrated and hung
out with friends and family and most of all my husband. My life
use to revolve around food for every celebration.
How long did it take you to start to see results?
After starting an exercise routine and eating program, I noticed
a change the first week. After two months I noticed huge changes
and it made me want to work even harder .
How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
1 year.
How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do
it?
I am still trying to lose 15 to 20 more pounds. I am training
for a triathlon in June 2009 and this keeps me moving towards
my goal.
How has your life changed now that you've lost weight?
I'm happy and calm. I can play with my children and keep up with
them. I want to be out in public and take family photos and most
of all, I am so proud of how far I've come. There is no stopping
me!

Jackie's Weight Loss Eating Plan!
Breakfast:
Meal replacement shake, 16oz water.
Lunch:
Meal replacement shake, 16oz water.
Dinner:
High protein, low fat chicken or fish with 2 cups of cooked veggies
and a salad. If I needed something sweet after dinner, I have
fruit.
Snacks or Mini Meals:
Fruit, fresh veggies, Slim Fast snack bar, granola bar, nuts,
broth.

Jackie's Weight Loss Workouts!
Weight Training:
Light free weights
with lots of reps. Push ups, lunges, stairs, situps, leg lifts.
Cardiovascular:
Elliptical trainer at level 14 for 20-30 minutes. Treadmill at
level 4.6 for 15-20 minutes, bike at level 10 for 20 minutes (I
only pick two per workout session).
