Jelena's Weight Loss Story!
When did you become unhappy with your weight?
After delivery of my child.
What made you decide to lose weight?
I was feeling self conscious, generally unhappy and unable to
find nice clothes
What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
I gave up on sweets and carbs, reduced bread and started an exercise
regime as soon as I could since I had a caesarian section
and had to wait a couple of months.
What was most challenging about losing weight?
Food craving since I was breast feeding for 8 months so I could
not start dieting. I just tried to eat healthy and after I stopped
breast feeding, I could really decrease the food intake and the
cravings reduced. I tried to eat less in the evenings and I gave
up on fast food.
How long did it take you to start to see results?
It took 6 months to start noticing that my body was getting shape
but it took a year to get rid of the bulge. I really started to
see the results after I consulted a dietitian
and she put me on the 1 month regime. I lost 9 cm from my waist
and six on my thighs and legs in 1 month. I lost 2 dress size
and ended up being slimmer then I was in years. I'm still losing
although I stopped the diet.
How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
1 year and 2 months but I am still losing.
How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do
it?
I am still losing gradually although I have reached my target
weight.
How has your life changed now that you've lost weight?
I was pretty sporty and slim for most of my life so I am very
happy to have the old Jelena back. To be able to fit into clothes
and choose the things that I love instead of trying to conceal
the bulge. I feel much more attractive and my husband is very
proud of me. Everybody is noticing and saying that I lost weight
pretty fast but I'm still healthy.
How did ShapeFit help you reach your weight loss goals?
I love reading the success
stories! They gave me strength to start to do something about
the problem and not to be too hard on myself. I realized that
the patience and hard work will eventually get me there and it's
much better then a quick fix like a surgery or pills which are
short lived and can even be dangerous. ShapeFit's weight

Weight loss tip #1:
Don't
put yourself down. You will get there even if you stumble along
the way!
Weight loss tip #2:
Each day is a chance to make healthy choices but if you do feel
craving for sweets, choose dark chocolate instead of fatty choices!
Weight loss tip #3:
Enjoy the whole process because exercising makes you feel good!
Praise yourself every time you choose the healthy stuff instead
of the burger or ice cream. If you eat more one day, don't put
yourself down and eat less the next day along with a little more
exercise and it will come off.
Weight loss tip #4:
Don't be on a strict diet for holidays. Allow yourself to try
some yummy treats but don't go overboard.
Weight loss tip #5:
If possible, consult with a certified
dietitian who can prescribe a balanced diet that works for
you. It made all the difference for me!

Jelena's Weight Loss Eating Plan!
Breakfast:
Activia yogurt with cereal. Coffee with skimmed milk and sweetener.
Lunch:
Soup and salad or steamed trout or salmon and veggie. Apple,
cup of green tea or coffee with skimmed milk
Dinner:
Risotto with veggie or Greek salad or soup with slice of brown
bread.
Snacks or Mini Meals:
Fresh apple or almonds and raisins, fruit, yogurt, cereal bars.

Jelena's Weight Loss Workouts!
Weight Training:
3 rounds of weight training in the gym.
Cardiovascular:
30 minutes on the treadmill.
