When I returned from my trip to Canada, I felt that I was on top of the world. When I printed my photos, I guess what I thought or felt about myself didn't match the pictures, so I decided to change that.

It's been a constant struggle throughout my life. I've always been known as the fat kid. One day I just woke up and thought that I deserved to feel good about myself.

My vacation photos from 2003 were the cause of the lifestyle change.

It was motivating myself to do this for me. There were many times when I wanted to quit, but I keep asking myself, "do you want to be fat forever?"
