I've been overweight since the age of 10 so I have been unhappy with my weight for most of my life.

I went to a doctors appointment and I was over 300 pounds. The heaviest I had ever been was 270 so I was shocked!

I began making better food choices, drinking water, and exercising daily. I also began writing down EVERYTHING that went into my mouth.

I had a hard time keeping a positive attitude during the weeks that the scale didn't show a loss.

I am not at my goal weight of 160, yet.

I recently got married to the man of my dreams. I would not have married him before because I didn't love myself and could not love him, either.

Egg white omelet with fresh spinach, mushrooms, onions, and canadian bacon. Also, 2 slices of whole wheat toast.

3 ounces of boneless skinless grilled chicken breast, 1/2 can of green beans, SF jello, low fat cheese stick.

4 ounces of steamed shrimp, sauteed in olive oil with fresh squash, zucchini, mushrooms, and onions, sweet potato.

2 lowfat tortillas with black bean dip and fresh spinach, pretzels, granola bar, soy chips.

I weight train with my husband 4 mornings a week from 5am-6am in our garage. I have weight trained since the very beginning of my weight loss.

In the evenings, I head to the gym for step class, spinning, cardio kick boxing, or just to use the cardio machines.
