When did you become unhappy with your weight?
I have been
unhappy since 10 years old.
What made you decide to lose weight?
I got fed up
with listening to experts and trying every plan out there and not seeing long
What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
I now eat predominately whole foods, I pretty much eliminated processed foods
and heavy starches.
What was most challenging about losing weight?
the beginning were cravings, but I also had other health issues as well. As time
went on my challenges were plateaus and boredom with food choices and also exercise.
How long did it take you to start to see results?
started to see results within a month of dedication.
How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
About 2 years.
How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do it?
1.5 years and its not coming back.
How has your life changed now that you've lost weight?
I am totally free in my mind. I can choose what I want to eat any where I go
and not care about anyone's opinions or comments. I have no problem eating differently
from others. I am totally pleased and ok with that. It excites me to go from a
size 22 to a size 4/6 and I am not holding my breath either.

I do compound exercises total body 2x
a week 60 mins Pilates body strengthening and flexibility 3x a week 15-60 mins.
I jog while my kids ride their bicycles
4 days a week 30 - 60 mins.
