Vishal's Weight Loss Story!
When did you become unhappy with your weight?
We had a family wedding and the pictures of the wedding showed
the way people reacted towards me which made me really unhappy.
Idid not like people advising me and I wanted to prove that its
not impossible for me to lose weight all by myself.
What made you decide to lose weight?
I looked at the pictures of my sister's wedding and the videos.
I looked horrible. I wanted to change this!
What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
The first important change I made was in my thinking I had decided
that I would not give up unless I achieved my goal weight. I modified
my eating habits. I avoided junk foods and ate more of the juices
and fruits. I started calorie counting and planned my meals each
day.
What was most challenging about losing weight?
The most challenging thing was sticking to it and being motivated
and determined and not giving up.
How long did it take you to start to see results?
Initially I got results in the first month which made me quiet
happy but gradually it started slowing down. I therefore kept
changing my diet and exercises to keep it going.
How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
Its almost a year and a month now.
How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do
it?
Just a month I still want to get a couple of pounds off me.
How has your life changed now that you've lost weight?
It has definitely made me more confident. It has changed the
way people react to me. People no more make fun of me, which always
happened when I was fat.

Vishal's Weight Loss Eating Plan!
Breakfast:
Egg white omelet with veggies. Whole wheat toast (no butter).
Water.
Lunch:
Chicken breast sandwich with lettuce and tomato on whole wheat
bread (no mayo). Small salad with balsamic dressing.
Dinner:
5 ounces of grilled salmon with stir fried veggies (made with
olive oil).
Snacks or Mini Meals:
Protein bars and protein shakes.

Vishal's Weight Loss Workouts!
Weight Training:
I did not do too much weights. I just did some light weights
3 times a week..
Cardiovascular:
2 hours of walking (morning and evening 1 hour each) stopped
using the elevator and started using the stairs (I live in n apartment
on the forth floor). I did some cycling and running on the treadmill
while in the gym twice a week.
