When did you become unhappy with your weight?
I was overweight as a child and was a major emotional eater.
What made you decide to lose weight?
An old friend thought I was pregnant when I wasn’t and that was the kick-start I needed.
What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
No more soda and fast food. I also started drinking lots of water.
What was most challenging about losing weight?
There are temptations all over the place from dinner parties, get-togethers and practically anything that revolves around food.
How long did it take you to start to see results?

How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do it?
I made it a lifestyle change.
What keeps you motivated to continue your weight loss success?
I’m a personal trainer now and all of my clients keep me motivated.
How has your life changed now that you’ve lost weight?
I’ve been featured in two magazines and on The Today Show. I have a successful blog on Facebook and even wrote a book. I now work full time as a personal trainer helping ladies much like my former self and I love it!
Do you have any advice for others who are trying to lose weight?
Keep at it! You truly won’t be motivated until you see the results yourself so you have to fake it to make it.
