When did you become unhappy with your weight?
When I decided to play with my boys and I couldn’t run from home base to first.

What made you decide to lose weight?
When my sister had gastric bypass and I realized that it wasn’t an answer.

I completely changed my eating habits.

What was most challenging about losing weight?
Sticking with it even though the scale sometimes didn’t change.

Within 4 months.

About 2 years and I have maintained for over a year.

I have maintained my weight loss for at least 2 years.

What keeps you motivated to continue your weight loss success?
I started a Facebook page to help motivate others. It helps to keep me motivated also.

Geri’s Weight Loss Eating Plan!

Breakfast:
geri-weight-loss-story-3Blueberry, yogurt, grass-fed whey protein, and whole milk.

Lunch:
Spinach salad with chicken and lots of veggies.

Dinner:
8 ounces of steak, mashed cauliflower and Brussels sprouts.

Snacks or Mini Meals:
Carrots.

Nutritional Supplements:
I take a microbial cleanse. I think that fungus in your body plays a huge roll in obesity.

Geri’s Weight Loss Workouts!

Weight Training:
I have not started weight training yet.

Cardiovascular:
I walked, walked, and then walked some more! Probably 4 times a week.
