Katrina's Weight Loss Story!
When did you become unhappy with your weight?
I became unhappy when I couldn't try on the clothes I liked in
the stores in the mall. I had always been a small girl and now
I had to buy "medium" size clothes and I didn't like
the way they looked or fit.
What made you decide to lose weight?
I was suffering all the various side effects of being overweight,
such as depression. I also had heartburn and I hated that I couldn't
do all those things that I could do when I was lighter.
What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
Walking for an hour to the park at least 5 days a week and eating
much more natural foods such as fruits and vegetables.
What was most challenging about losing weight?
Sticking to my healthy diet long enough so that I formed a new
"habit" of eating right.
How long did it take you to start to see results?
2.5 months.
How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
3 months.
How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do
it?
I've been able to maintain it for about 2 months now.
How has your life changed now that you've lost weight?
I am no longer depressed, I don't have heartburn, I can go for
long walks and I'm not out of breath. I just feel more fit and
healthy. I'm also able to buy all the cute clothes that I wanted
to buy before but couldn't. I love the way I look and feel now!

Katrina's Weight Loss Tips!
Weight loss tip #1:
Eat
lots of protein! It will fill you up and you won't be hungry.
Weight loss tip #2:
Eat lots of natural foods like fruits and veggies. They are what
your body needs!
Weight loss tip #3:
Make sure you get healthy fats from nuts and seeds. They keep
the whole system working well.
Weight loss tip #4:
Get rid of sugar, flour, grains and even dairy as much as you
can. Many people have allergies to them which can cause you to
gain weight.
Weight loss tip #5:
Stick to your new diet and weight loss plan for at least one
month. By then it will become a habit and it will be much easier
to stick with.

Katrina's Weight Loss Eating Plan!
Breakfast:
Scrambled eggs (protein) with green onion. Raw carrots, raw radishes,
raw red bell pepper and a small apple as well. Herbal tea or water
to drink.
Lunch:
Chicken breast (protein) with broccoli or carrots or radishes
(any kind of veggie). Apple or orange, and really any kind of
fruit if I'm still hungry. Herbal tea or water to drink.
Dinner:
Chicken breast again, with veggies. Any kind of fruit after.
Herbal tea and water.
Snacks or Mini Meals:
Hazelnuts, sunflower seeds, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries,
green snap peas.

Katrina's Weight Loss Workouts!
Weight Training:
2 days a week I do push ups, dips, lunges, squats and burpees.
Cardiovascular:
Walking for an hour to the park 3 to 5 days a week. Jumping rope
when I feel like it. Sprinting for 10 minutes when I feel like
it.
