When did you become unhappy with your weight?
Some time in November 2005, when I noticed I was having problems climbing office stairs.
What made you decide to lose weight?
I thought if I wanted to enjoy life then I should lose weight.
What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
I changed my diet and lifestyle. Previously, I used to eat foods rich with fats without any consideration, but I started avoiding 3 things 1) oils, 2) sugar and sweets, 3) breads and rice.
What was most challenging about losing weight?
Changing my lifestyle and resisting temptation for my favorite foods.
How long did it take you to start to see results?
Just after one week I started to get favorable results.
How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
About 53 days.
How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do it?
For more than one year I am maintaining my weight. I am able to do it by following my diet plan for lunch and controlling my appetite.
How has your life changed now that you’ve lost weight?
I feel very energetic and my blood pressure is back in normal range. I now get good sleep as well.

Only one glass of grapefruit juice.
Lots of salads. Consisting of cucumber, lettuce, carrots, cabbage and some fruit.
Lots of salad and a small serving of grilled chicken or fish.

Fruits, consisting of apples, oranges etc.
