Robyn’s Weight Loss Story!

When did you become unhappy with your weight?
I became unhappy with my weight after the birth of my son but never had the drive to really get rid of it.

What made you decide to lose weight?
After carrying the weight for over 10 years and having a blood pressure of 190 at the age of 29, I decided to make a change to save my inner self and the person dying to get out again.

What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
I created my own diet and workout plan. As the weight began to fall off I kept adjusting the plan to obtain my goal of 112 pounds which is what I was at in high school.

What was most challenging about losing weight?
Understanding that it will take time to reach my goal. Also realizing I would have to totally change my eating habits and start working out again for good to keep it off.

How long did it take you to start to see results?
I started to see results within 2 weeks.

How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
It’s been about two years although I could have done it sooner, but I really wanted to take the time and shrink my stomach so I could maintain the weight loss.

How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do it?
I have maintained the weight loss for over two years and am still toning to create my perfect body. I was able to do so by creating a very effective weight loss and workout plan which still allowed me to have carbs and candy.

How has your life changed now that you’ve lost weight?
It has changed a lot and when everything seems to be going wrong, I find great satisfaction in overcoming this vice.

How did ShapeFit help you reach your weight loss goals?

  1. She mentioned in the interview that she “cut out the fatty protein”. However, in her meal breakdown, her dinner is fried shake and bake (which is not grilled). Very confusing. Which one is it?

    • Hi JC – She is probably referring to the actual protein source (chicken, etc) and not the meal preparation. The fried bake and shake might consist of a lean protein (chicken breast) but still have some fat since it’s fried in oil.
