Tania's Weight Loss Story!
When did you become unhappy with your weight?
I have been the "bigger girl" all my life and I have
always been unhappy with my weight.
What made you decide to lose weight?
One summer, my husband and I decided to take our 3 kids on vacation.
When we returned home after 2 weeks, I transferred all of our
pictures onto the computer and saw the most awful, unflattering
photos of myself with our family. I couldn't believe it was actually
me! I was so embarrassed and I knew I didn't want to spend another
family vacation this way. I wanted to be able to like the pictures
we take on our future family vacations.
What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
My diet. Honestly, everything that went in my mouth!
What was most challenging about losing weight?
Having 3 kids and a husband that could eat what they wanted and
I was always making something different for myself. Resisting
the temptation was tough.
How long did it take you to start to see results?
In the first few days. I was so heavy and had such bad eating
habits that as soon as I started eating healthy and being calorie
conscious, the weight just "fell off".
How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
A little over 6 months.
How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do
I've maintained my weight at around 180 pounds for the last 6
months but have recently started really watching what I'm putting
into my body again. I need to lose another 34 pounds to hit my
What keeps you motivated to continue your weight loss success?

to look good for my husband and set a healthy example for my kids!
How has your life changed now that you've lost weight?
I no longer have to squeeze myself into the biggest size clothing
the store has and I can actually shop the "On Sale"
racks now! I have a happier and more playful relationship with
my husband. I have WAY more confidence in myself, and other friends
and family actually look up to ME for inspiration!
Do you have any advice for others who are trying to lose weight?
Never give up! Just don't do it! Even if you haven't seen that
number on the scale move for a couple weeks, JUST KEEP GOING!
It all helps. Your life will be so much better and you will feel
like a new person. I guarantee it!

Oatmeal with splenda and cinnamon, multigrain Cheerios, egg white
Taco salads with ground chicken, soups, rye bread sandwiches
with grainy mustard and lean turkey and veggies.

quinoa and veggies.
Snacks or Mini Meals:
Always keep snacks under 100 calories if possible! Apples, granola
bars, veggies and yogurt dip, rice crackers, yogurt, pickles,
sliced turkey on tomatoes.
I'm currently not taking any supplements.
Tania's Weight Loss Workouts!
I have not started weight training yet.
I jog and run for 30 minutes twice a week and if I have time,
I do home videos like Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred.
