Matt Drews was the first round draft pick of the New York Yankees in 1993 as a right handed pitcher. Matt was one of the most sought after athletes ever to come out of Sarasota (Florida) High School as he was a blue-chip recruit of virtually every major college baseball, football and basketball teams. At 6 feet 8 inches tall and a fastball consistently in the mid 90's, it is no surprise that Matt was so highly touted. Matt enjoyed seven years of professional baseball, playing in the Yankees', Tigers' and Devil Rays' organizations, respectively.
