What's your background? How did you get started in the fitness modeling
field?
Answer:
I started at about the age of 16 years old when I was a cheerleader
in high school. Staying fit was very important to me.

What is the #1 thing you like best about being into fitness?
Answer:
Your always in shape!!!

What has been your biggest accomplishment in the fitness field?
Answer:
I have appeared in several magazines and being in shape provides
an easier access in getting exposed in this field.

Fitness Question #1 - What is the best
way to get started in the fitness modeling industry? Should I just
contact the photographers directly or should I use an agency?
Answer:
First and foremost, start by getting a photographer to take photos.
Once you do that, then start submitting photos to agencies for
consideration.

Fitness Question #2 - Please describe
a typical day for you. What is your daily routine like?
Answer:
Wake up in the morning, east breakfast, and on the days I am
working I get ready for work and check my email. Once my work
day is over I go home and get ready to workout. On the days I
am off from work, I work out in the mornings. My day consist of
work, email, working out and eating healthy!!

Fitness Question #3 - I dont
have that much time during the day to workout, so I really want
to burn major calories in a short amount of time. What is the #1
bang for the buck cardio exercise I should do to burn
serious calories?
Answer:
Running is always a great way to burn the most calories. Running
allows the body to use every muscle.

Fitness Question #4 - How much weight
(pounds) should I focus on losing every week? What is a safe amount
to make sure I keep it off?
Answer:
1-2 pound per week is the ideal amount.

Fitness Question #5 - What type of
food or supplements should I take before and after my workouts to
help me see results in gaining lean muscle and losing fat?
Answer:
There are many supplements now out out in the market. Vitamins
are very important such as fish oils, multivitamins, and my favorite
vitamin water!! While watching your carb and calorie intake, a
high quality protein powder is good!!

Fitness Question #6 - How do you deal
with cravings for junk foods, sweets and salty food? I can stay
on a diet for maybe a few weeks but I eventually get really bad
cravings and binge on snacks and fast foods.
Answer:
The best way to deal with this situation is to give your self
one day a week to eat your favorite foods. Focus on that one day
and before you know it, that day has arrived. But a helpful hint,
is not eat eat 3 big meals per day, its helpful to eat consistently
throughout the day. This will help you fight cravings. My personal
secret is to brush your teeth, nothing taste good after doing
that!!!

Fitness Question #7 - Im trying
to create a healthy shopping list to stick with. What are some of
the main foods I should include to maintain a lean and muscular
physique?
Answer:
To help stay healthy, fit and lean, a good shopping list will
consist of:
Chicken, fish, turkey, lean red meat, oatmeal, multigrain rice,
low fat yogurt, fruits, veggies, almonds, multigrain bread, and
eggs

Fitness Question #8 - Im about
35 pounds over weight. I have never started an exercise program
and really dont know where to start. What tips can you give
me to get started on the right track?
Answer:
Is it very important to talk to your physician first and foremost
before joining a gym and starting an exercise/diet program. Allow
the physician to give you clearance.
Once you do part one, then you can start joining a gym near you
and set up a consultation with one of the gym trainers to help
jump start your program. The trainers will set up an exercise
program most effective for you and a diet program to help achieve
your goals.

Fitness Question #9 - I tend to eat
out most of the time and really dont know what healthy foods
to order from the menu. What tips do you recommend for eating out
at restaurants to make sure my diet will not suffer?
Answer:
Allows go for the grilled or baked foods, like grilled chicken,
grilled veggies, baked potato (plain, no butter or cream). Stay
away from the high fats foods such as mash potatoes which are
drenched in butter and cream, and fried foods, like fried chicken.
Salads are always great with a low fat dressing. Always ask your
waiter to take out ingredients such as cheese, croutons etc
.
and if you like a specific chicken but it comes fried, ask the
waiter if you can have it grilled.

Fitness Question #10 - What exercises
do you recommend for getting a bigger, rounder and fuller butt?
Answer:
3 sets of 20 reps of Squats have helped me get my fuller butt
along with some kick backs. I will grab a step and hold it upward
and kick back, I will do about 20 reps and 3 sets on each side.

Fitness Question #11 - What is the
most challenging thing you deal with about consistently staying
in top shape?
Answer:
Being that I am 100% Italian, I have to deal with my family always
cooking pasta. They don't like it when I pass on it. So it is
very challenging for me to stay away from pasta!!

Fitness Question #12 - Please describe
your normal diet. What do you eat in a typical day to stay in shape?
Answer:
Wake up in the morning, and start off my day with good breakfast.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
Breakfast 6:15am:
Eggwhite veggie omelet with a slice of American cheese and wheat
toast. A cup of coffee with skim milk and 1 splenda.
Snack 10:00am
Wheat crackers and a fruit
Lunch 1:00pm
Multigrain sandwich with turkey, lite mayo and American cheese
Vitamin Water to drink
Fruit of some sort
Snack 3:30pm
Small hand full of almonds and vitamin water to drink
Dinner 6:00pm
Grilled Chicken, veggie for a side, multigrain rice

Fitness Question #13 - What type of
exercises do you include in your routine to stay in shape?
Answer:
Strength Training Exercises: Weight training 4-5x per
week
Cardio Exercises: Running and Treadmill 4-5x per week
Additional Training: Once per week I will attend a body
pump class that focuses on strength and cardio training

top 5 tips (specific exercises, diet advice, etc) you recommend
for developing toned and defined arms?
Answer:
1. Feel the Burn!!
2. Make sure you use a proper form
3. Use of heavier weight
4. Make sure you include enough protein in your daily diet
5. Make sure you switch up your exercises to give your body a
variety.

Answer:
1. Diet

Answer:
45 minutes of cardio
1 hour of weight training
( Monday- Arms, Back, Abs)
( Tuesday- Legs, and Abs)
( Wednesday- Shoulders and Glutes)
( Thursday- Body Pump Class)
(Friday- Arms, and Abs)
(Saturday- Half hour of cardio)
(Sunday-OFF)

for losing fat around the stomach and developing a toned and defined
midsection?
