Seniors Bodybuilding
Hi, Intrigued with senior bodybuilders (hate that word "senior") but as an example Ernestine Shepherd. As we get older, the metabolism slows, muscles decline, things go south, etc, etc. How do you think she manages to stay looking so awesome. Is it diet, strict exercise regime? I am a seni...

Is there particular types of exercise to stay away from once muscle has developed? What exercise would you suggest to add to weights to ...

Re: Cortisol/Adrenalin Surges
Hi Bossman, Thank you for reply. Yep, only get these adrenaline spikes in evening. May get them in mornings too, but too active with life in general during day to notice. Only aware of it when I am resting...and that's another story  Still at it hard and strong. Fitness I think is in DNA, could...

Re: Stopping Cardio and Weight Gain
Bossman, thank you for the reply. Appreciate and value the feedback. Yes, I am hoping muscle too. Over the last 18months - 2 years, I have consistently been doing strength/weights three times a week. The weight I lift have been a slow and steady progression and I am so pleased with the results and a...

Stopping Cardio and Weight Gain
Over the last 3 months I have stopped cardio ie. Zumba and running (to have a break). These sessions were 3 times a wee, but have continued with weight/strength training 3 times a week. I feel that I am now slowly starting to gain weight. Is it possible to gain weight whilst only doing strength work...
