Re: I've hit rock bottom. I need help.

Ok, so I was trying so hard to get healthy, and the last couple months have just gone downhill for me. I really need help getting back to a healthy diet (not eating so much junk food) and such. The problem: I am a salty snack addict, and a sweets addict. I am also a vegetarian, therefore I do not e...

Re: Last 14 lbs

In the past 2 1/2 years I've managed to get from 210 lbs down to 140 lbs,and I would still like to lose an extra 14 lbs.But the weight just won't come off...I must be doing something wrong, either in eating(which I must admit could be a bit cleaner..) or with exercise. I usually try to stick to 1500...

Why is the diet both low in fat and carbs? If you are looking to lose weight keep carbs low and increase fat, you should be taking in the bulk amount of carbs during and directly after exercise.

Don't try to build muscle and lose fat at the same time...

Just stick to one fat loss plan and in turn you may end up gaining lean mass while you lose body fat if done correctly..

Sure! Looking at the first post in the journal..(Unless you somehow drastically changed your diet) Brown rice and whole wheat bread for breakfast... Intake of fat after a workout Ie; milk....goats milk... That's completely counter-productive...I haven't read past that... If fat loss is the goal do ...

The diet was horrendous, not trying to attack you, but that's where your problem is... It's changed since then, but I never would have classified it as "horrendous." Would you mind explaining? Sure! Looking at the first post in the journal..(Unless you somehow drastically changed your die...

Get Diet and training sorted first, then explore Supplements later in the process. The only things even worth considering now might be regular ones, like Healthy Oil based capsules, Vit C, possibly a Muti-vit, but I'd still err on the side of patience and as I suggested first, before even going dow...

There is no magic pill, but I would be VERY curious to see what your diet was like and the amount of exercise you were doing... You can check it out under Allison's Journal in the Workout Journals area. I haven't posted there in a while, but I was posting there during the time I was taking CLA. The...

I have to say they did nothing for me in terms of weight loss. I have seen benefits of the fish oil in other areas, such as memory retention. I cut out the CLA due to its cost and lack of benefit for me. I'm sure it works differently for other folks, but the only place I lost weight was wallet. Tak...

I used to eat pretty bad...I always ate really nutritous foods, but in very high quantities. I also ate pizza a lot... For the past 2 weeks, I've been watching everything I eat. I try to eat at the 40, 40, 20 ratio.... but I mostly just worry about eating enough protein....because apart from wantin...
