so here i am again. am super busy these days so little time for sitting at the computer. grrrr. anyway everything going great here. doing running/walking/cycling/strength and all going well. Am being really careful with food and have somehow miraculously made it down to 157lbs at last weigh in!!!!! ...

Your running seems to be going great! goal is to break the 30mins for a 5k too lol! someday.... I do 3 total body strength training sessions a week at the gym - i consider it the basis of training - everything else gets worked in around that - hth!!! rock on missus, I'm still in awe of your running ...

Bonnie - freedom - yes I totally get that now. mindset going into the race was to not worry about time, to walk as well as I could and if I could manage some running intervals then do it. I guess I gave myself the freedom to run if I felt body could do it - and it did! It was mind holding me back al...

Hello again everyone. So this week has consisted of: Monday - one hour interval walk and bodyweight strength session (upper body only to allow legs an extra day to heal after the race Tuesday - 30Km on the bike - was glorious!!! Wednesday - 7km run in 49 minutes!! Ran the whole way - no walking and ...

Edgar I couldn't get over the motivation I felt during the race to push it. I had to hold myself back. Crazy isn't it?

holy canoli (sp?) you look amazing in those pics! I'm sorry to hear all you're going through right now. It's hard to stay motivated when you're sick but you should be proud of yourself for continuing to want to better yourself and keeping going with your work outs and course and mold investigations....

Looking at splits there on the Garmin (Edgar - isn't the max stuff annoying? mine does the same). I did a 10K from the start of 4km to the end of 13km in 1 hr 6 mins!!!!!!!!I never would have believed I could do that! I'm already looking for next race (want to do a 10K in November)...like I said - h...

I didn't say before now but you have inspired me a lot regarding running - to the point where I ran a half marathon this weekend. I put up a post about it on journal.
