Re: Muscle recovery time

If you want to put on muscle, please, train your legs.

Heavy squats do more than just give you big legs.

Re: gym time problem n workout program

If you want a simple program then, google Mark Rippetoe's starting strength 3x5.

Yes, you can eat dinner straight after the gym. This is actually the most benifical time as it is when your body is most anabolic.

Re: Cardio before or after weights?

Nope. If you can last 40 minutes, its interval training not hiit. If you're doing it on a treadmill, it's probably not hiit either. When you do HIIT you go 100% (i.e sprinting). Even the best athletes in the world cant sustain this for longer than 30 seconds at a time (even the fittest men in the wo...

If you can do HIIT for 40 minutes... well... it's not HIIT.

Re: workout routine

I agree with you that it's hit and miss. It worked very well for me, but it didn't effect many of friends at all.
If you shop around you can get it pretty inexpensively.

BTW, No Xplode is made by BSN, not Muscletech. Muscletech's version is Nanovapour.

Re: Rounded shoulders?

If you have access to weights then do some back/rear delt work. This is usually a symptom of a weak back (when compared with pushing muscles), or weak rear delts when compared to the front delt. Rows are a good start, and also high-rep face pulls or rear lateral raises.

This is a pretty common issue

Re: What do you guys think?

Okay, well if you've milked the linear progression then may i suggest an intermediate or advanced routine. Madcow's 5x5 is worth a go, which has weekly progressions instead but by the sound of it you won't be able to do that either. I would highly recommend Jim Wendler's 5/3/1 if you're looking for ...

Some NO supplements have their uses. For example i found both NO Xplode and gaspari superpump 250 both extremely helpful for energy levels int he gym while cutting.

Re: workout routine

As bossman said, Nitric Oxide isn't really a fatloss supplement. It's a vasodilator and is generally used pre-workout for increased 'pump'.

Re: What do you guys think?

Okay, it's a lot easier for me to help you now you've provided your details ;) The program you've posted isn't bad, but I would honestly advise following a strength routine and eating above maintenance if you wan't to gain muscle. I would suggest Starting strength by mark rippetoe, or one of bill st...

I recommend you buy the book too as it goes into heavy detail on how to perform each lift.
