I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Swimming is a great way to burn calories. Probably one of the best exercises that gets you in serious shape.

I would have to say that swimming is the best cardio exercise. It works your whole body instead of just your legs.

I like to just stand straight up, and bring the dumbbells up by side so they are 90 degrees from body.

You should definitely take up swimming. It's one of the best exercises and is a fun and great way to lose weight.

I would suggest swimming. It has very low impact on your joints and keeps you very fit.

There are a lot of success stories from users of P90x. To understanding it gives you a great workout and just keeps you moving the whole time. It sounds really great for your body so I would say yes, stick with it I'm sure you'll see results.
