Re: Good work out program?

That sounds good, but I've been working out like that for about a year and I'm not seeing what I want to see. I'm talking about like maybe a program to get on for a few weeks that will get me in shape maybe like a P90x or Insanity. I'm honestly trying to get ripped in time for this cruise coming up,...

Good work out program?

When I was in high school I wasn't in the best shape, but when I got to college I really let myself go and gained a bunch of weight. I've been working out for about a year now, but I'm no where near where I want to be. I weigh 220 pounds and I want to have a six pack or at least nice abs as quick as...

Re: What sports would you consider to be safe and dangerous?

Like you said, pro swimmers know how to avoid sucking in a bunch of water and even in lesser competition of swimming like in high school, there are life guards on hand or at least some sort of help if a blackout does occur. Another good safe sport you can put down instead of swimming is croquette. N...

Re: Best cardio exercise

The most effective cardio exercises for me are the stair master or running stairs, swimming, jogging, hiking, and playing basketball. I use the stair master because it kills legs and I always get off drenched in sweat. I try to make sure I swim after every workout because it takes away some of the s...

Re: WEIGHT LOSS TIPS?

They say it speeds up your metabolism if you eat 5-6 times a day, 3 decent sized meals, with 2-3 snacks in between. Another thing that I do to try to cut some weight off is after work outs I make sure to hit the sauna, so that I can sweat everything out. I don't know exactly how much it helps, but g...

Re: What is the best sports movie of the following sports

Hockey: Miracle Basketball: Coach Carter Baseball: Sandlot Football: The Longest Yard Miracle is such a great movie because of the time and how we beat a power house in hockey to claim the title that no one gave us a shot at. Coach Carter is favorite basketball movie because he showed a bunch of imm...

Re: What sports would you consider to be safe and dangerous?

The 3 safest sports in opinion are table tennis (ping pong), swimming, and billiards (pool) because it is virtually impossible to get hurt doing the sports unless a freak accident occurs. The most dangerous sports are car racing, football, hockey, and fighting sports (MMA, boxing, wrestling) because...

Re: What sports do you do?

Sports is passion, so I have an appreciation for every sport out there, but favorite sport to play is basketball. The other sports I was involved in when I was in school were football, cross country, and baseball. The sports I love watching on T.V. are MMA, tennis, basketball, football, and track an...

Re: motivational quotes

“The breakfast of champions is not cereal, it’s the opposition.”-Nick Seitz “If you aren’t going all the way, why go at all?”-Joe Namath “If you don’t practice you don’t deserve to win.”-Andre Agassi These are a few of favorite motivational sports quotes but they apply to life as well. In life every...
