I have been doing a combination of Stair Machine and Treadmill. 30 minutes of level 6 on the stairs. Slow enough to breathe, but intervalled for maximum fat loss. Not the "funnest" exercise, but I'm able to watch a training video, the news, or whatever while doing it, and I have lost about...

Definitely give yourself plenty of time to recuperate on the lifting. Try doing some light cardio. The stair machine is excellent for weight loss without any jarring impact that would hurt your lower back. Level 6 for 30 minutes, and you won't want to do anything else after. ;)

I think Boss Man is on the right track. Your chest is easily one of the strongest muscle groups in the body, but if you don't strengthen you shoulders and back, you won't be able to get maximum results from chest workouts. wife and I tried P90X together. It was actually some pretty intense workouts! It didn't work for us, but only because our schedules made it hard to consistently do the workouts. I'm sure however, that if we had stuck with it, we would have seen some great results.
