but as far as i remember, 8-12 reps is the best for building muscle mass and strength. or does this theory not apply to squats?

vertical jump
hi guys, im interested in increasing vertical jump. i weight 70 kg and im squatting the same weight. The first obvious thing to do i guess is to increase squat. but how much? and is there any programs that are proven to work without the need of buying it that you guys can share?

It only wobbles on the last few reps. Must be the knee being tired or something i guess.

what about knee wobbling? iv'e heard from people to try very best to push knees to the sides when squatting. i lowered the weight and tried, i think it helps a little but still it wobbles but not as bad as before. yes i do go parallel. and btw. i find that sometimes one of legs kinda lose tension and it wobbles left and right then gets back into position again. it however doesnt happen in every rep. usually when aproaching the last rep of the last set. why is it so? im curious.

ok, so i squat-ed today. Some problems, The bar seems to slide down back which then bends wrist that is supporting it and hence me bending forward a lil more to balance the bar on back or it will fall. So i tried putting leg on the middle of the plate.it helped. but it didnt took the pressure on the balls of feet completely. it sort of shift from the balls to the heel. when im doing the excercise.

g'day. im having a major problem here. im doing the leg press and i seem to be pushing with the balls of feet instead of heels. i am using the incline machine where its at a 45 degree. is there anything to do with the seat adjustments? a little help will be greatly appreciated.
