Re: Beginner at-home workout
No don't do that at home beginner, there's too much emphasis on quads over hamstrings and the plank duration is not enough to make much impact.

Re: Build Muscle / Become Toned
One thing you could do is alter the carb to fat ratio. You could reduce the carbs in each meal by 10g, which is 40 calories, then increase the meal by around 4-5 grams of fat, which is 36-45 calories, as then the body wouldn't get as much primary energy, so it might try to tap into secondary energy ...

Hi Alex, good to talk to you.
Can I just clarify; are you saying you've gained 40lbs of weight in just 5 months?

Re: I want to make the most of time at work
You say you don't make unneccessary purchases, but if the shoes pinch and hurt then getting better fitting ones can count as a necessary purchase, because you don't need to be forcing yourself to wear uncomfortable shoes if you have a better option you can choose :). When you say make the exercises ...

Re: Advice for weight loss/toning
Steroids however have side effects and are not a good idea if someone is eating less than a minimum of 3,500 calories a day. You also need a good PCT and people using it who are vastly experienced have been known to lose 25%-50% of any muscle gains made on a cycle.

Re: 14 and not losing weight
Hi there, nice to talk to you Eli :). Firstly, 6 times a day is too much, you're overdoing it and your body might be shutting down on you, because you're getting an unhealthy relationship between diet and exercise. Most people only need to exercise 3-6 times a week, to get results, as long as the di...

mistake. I saw the username and it just looked like one a female would use. I've given this strategy to people before, so hopefully it should work for you. Breakfast Option 1. Bowl of Whole-grain Cereal and 1 rasher of Bacon, fat trimmed off and scrambled Eggs, (2 Egg Whites + Yolk) Option 2. Prote...

Re: New to the site !!! Need help Plz!!!
The idea is not to gain weight back, it's because you want to gain muscle and keep the fitness, so as cardio can be detrimintal to muscle mass if you overdo it, it's about having the extra calories to build muscle and fuel the cardio, but also to make sure the cardio is counterproductive to the musc...

Re: New to the site !!! Need help Plz!!!
Hi BYT good to speak to you. Well I wouldn't necessarily do all the running and HIIT cardio, as it could be too much. When you're looking for a weights workout, I would suggest that you start off with a TBT workout focusing on the whole body twice a week, so something like this would be good for 4-6...

Re: Cant run for more than 10 mins .... Leg muscles getting tired
You may be wise to consider increasing your carbs a little bit, so whatever you eat in the 1-2 meals prior to a run add 50% more of that carb source to those meals. If you are trying to run on empty, don't do that, have something like a carb loaded protein shake, or something like a bit of chicken a...

Re: Two Legs Calf Stretch
I would say there is less benefit, as pushing one at time could allow you to stretch the working leg more easily than two at a time and it would make your body position more stable.

Re: hamstring muscles are extremely stiff/tight.
You may need to consult a medical professional to see if it's something that might need cortisone or surgery for example, but what might help is trying to do a basic warm-up exercise before you do what you're trying to do, I:E 3-5 minutes of marching on the spot to warm up the hamstring muscles, or ...
