I wanted to post an initial post since I'm sure there are a lot of "regulars" on this board. I was looking for a woman's fitness board and when I searched Google, this is what I found! So glad to be here! name is Pamela. I am a 40 year old mom of four, grandmother to 2. I got into fitness in May of 2012. I came from a completely sedentary lifestyle and moved into healthier eating, concentrating on behavioral change (I had a food addiction), and exercising (both cardio and weight training). I started out at almost 300 pounds and am now a healthy 149 pounds and feel fantastic! I have never felt more inspired to do anything in entire life and have moved on to become a certified personal trainer and a lifestyle modification coach to help other women accomplish the same that I have. goal right now is just to concentrate on muscle building and a bit of fat loss at the same time (currently 24.5% BF).
I look forward to getting to know everyone here as I've been looking for a online fitness community for some time.
