Hello,
name is Adam and I am 20 years old from Germany. I am 183 cm tall and have about 90kg.
Since I didn't do much of sport for a really lot time (like 2+ years), I am in a very bad condition.
Now I would like to do something for myself. I want to start training football/soccer, but only when I get in a good condition.
So, I was thinking about swimming at first, because I don't like running. To be honest, I don't like to go running, because I just can't run without some ball, I am very used to play sports with ball. And I just can't do it. Maybe I would like to do it later, but for now I would like to avoid it.
So guys, do you think swimming is good for start, to lose weight? Does anybody have some advice connected to swimming?
I would be very grateful if somebody could help me.
Thanks.
How to lose weight and get used to the trainings regularly?

Hi Adam, good to talk to you.
Swimming is perfectly good for weight loss, but you need to bear in mind that weight loss would be determined more by your eating habits than by swimming, but if you combine the eating habits and swimming whereby you both of them are being executed properly, then that's a good combination in relation to weight loss.
There are actually ways to stop swimming becoming adaptive, I:E becoming something the body can adapt to costing you efficacy, if for example you use the same stroke type and cadence every time you swim and throughout each session.
1. Swim different strokes each length or width.
2. Swim the same stroke, but vary the speed each width or length.
3. Swim different strokes and vary the speed each length or width.
You may also need to address your eating as well, so what times do you eat at and what foods do you eat at those times?
