I have been working out for years and last weighted workouts have been High Frequency Training......It's and awesome workout ....But I needed to change up for awhile, I'm 47 and joints need a break...lol
So I'm doing Body weight exercises....I thought I was strong before....but I'm finding out If done right you can challenge your muscles with Calisthenics(i.e. pushups,dips,pullups and the dreaded pistol squat) I have been using the method of 3 reps 10 second rest for 10 minute cycle per exercise .....to keep it challenging without going to failure....
Working out like a ancient greek
